I'm a watford fan and I feel we should've got something out of the game. Nevertheless, you gave us a good game, and your defence and Kenny were very good today. the person i want to complain about is that dirty player Poleon, pushing Anya into our goalkeeper, knowing they would clash. Bond gets knocked out, then he scores. What do you think.
I think there was no intent and it was no different to the attempt by your player (I don't know who) to push Poleon out of the way in the lead up to our first goal. Like the commentators were saying, it's a push, everyone does it, you can't predict that kind of outcome. Only dirty player out there was inmate Deeney. Poleon had an excellent game
What was he supposed to do, refuse to score? A yellow card was fair, these things happen, that's football.
Wasn't even close to a red card offence. Wouldn't have even been a yellow had a serious injury not been caused. Just bad luck, nothing dirty about it, not like Deeney's career ender on Brown.
We should have had a penalty in the 2nd half with that boot of your defender on Varney's chest. And why on earth Brown got booked in the 1st half for an excellent tackle. Is it his reputation? In any case, I heard so much about Watford & today was the 1st time I saw you on TV. Not a very impressive, You will come straight down if you ever go up.
Obviously not. That would mean accepting that their loss was down to their own incompetence and not down to "dirty Leeds" or "the ref".
Deeney didn't really get the player, but it was a foul, but Poleon deliberately caused dangerous play, which, for me is a red, but i admit you should've had a penalty.
In what universe is pushing a player you're shoulder to shoulder with "deliberately causing dangerous play"? This universe you speak of is a strange one, as Deeney DEFINITELY made contact with Brown. Although either of these facts can be difficult to see through bitter-tinted-specs.
Marko didn't you know that if u nudge someone it automatically means he's gonna knock out his teammate haha
I don't think Anya knocked Bond out tbh, I think the camera angle just makes it look like that. I reckon Poleon just nutted him for a laugh. He's dirty Leeds after all and it's what we all do on the weekends.
Poleon should never have been booked. It was a lightweight push, and he was carded based on the outcome, not what he did. To say that he intended to cause serious injury is just laughable. Is he clairvoyant or something? How on earth can you predict the outcome in a split second? The referee was quite wrong on this one. Then again, he got a few things wrong - for both sides.
I wrote a thread last season about this clown of a ref totally inept every time he's reffed us, how the **** did brown get booked for that tackle
He didn't just fall over - watch it again - he was kicking out his legs hoping to make contact. Cheatin' git!
