Let's put the arguments about Hughton to one side for 90 minutes this afternoon. A win against Villa and we are virtually safe. It would take a freak set of results to send us down (we might even be safe today if Wigan don't win their game).

Those of us, like me and Thai, who are on the other side of the world can't do anything except watch and hope. Those of you who are at the game I'm sure will shout your hearts out to encourage the team.

A big, big day for our future. Let's hope.

My fridge is well stocked with Leo for tonight, just in case it gets too unbearable to watch in a normal state - a bit like most weeks to be fair <ok>

I have no expectations tonight. To put it bluntly we know what Lambert's capable of. Hope our guys' confidence is boosted by Ruddy and Bassong back and they go out and play! I'm a big fan of Lambert. He is the best thing that happened to us (since McNally) and whilst I wish him well I hope his team balls it up tonight. I'm with you Vietnam, let's get it sorted tonight and breathe again!

I'll be there, and give a special shout for you our far flung fans!
Got s strange feeling about today, no idea how to call it. Not sure that any rest would surprise me.

Well actually us scoring a hand full would be a shock, but nice!

It'll be interesting to see if lambert gets a clap from our fans, or a boo or nothing
    Probably nothing

Reckon villa will score first like the Swansea game but we will draw

Certainly nothing from me. He is a great part of our recent history, but today is about OUR team, not about him.

Funnily enough, even though I am one of Hughton's biggest critics, I will take a 1-0 win with an OG in the last minute after a dire game today.
Then we can debate the ramifications afterwards.I am sat her with my shirt on. I was supposed to go into Truro this morning with the missus but she won't let me go as I am wearing the shirt. I must admit, I don't like walking the streets with it on but I certainly am not taking it off until at least after the final whistle. And then again, if wee win, I might sleep in it.

I'll be glued to either telly or phone to see how this one pans out.. and should be a good game

I'm predicting a 2-2 draw but good luck anyway.. you lot need a bit of cheering up <ok>

Lambert has a fantastic record against East Anglian teams...I'm not expecting anything this afternoon

Lambert is a better tactician than Hughton. It will come down to one moment, in which Benteke scores.

Sorry to be a pestimist today, but he knows most of our players insider-out and their weaknesses.

On the plus side, my predictions also include losses for Newcastle and Wigan.

P.S: If Ruddy plays, we will draw instead

I'm usually a blind optimist, but today the Lambert affect worries me! Fingers crossed Hoots realises he has to go for it and not sit back and defend for 90 mins. We all know Lambert and therefor his players will be fired up for this one. I'm hoping for a win and a win by a couple of goals against Villa of all teams would taste sweet, but I will take a draw in all honesty.

Here's to hopefully a good game of football. ON THE BALL CITY!!!

Sense of duty, Thai - figure I have to try and work up a bit of enthusiasm. Although just read Hughton's usual miserabilist message reported by Pink Un and feel a bit deflated right now. He really knows how to stir a team up, doesn't he?
