There's a coffee shop I pop into quite often in Brid.

The owner is an avid Leeds fan but always gives me an honest view on how they've been playing, if they've played poorly he says so.

His assessment of Leeds after the game at the KC was the same as most peoples, Leeds were poor and he acknowleged that City had played very well.

I went in for a coffee this afternoon, I asked him what he thought would happen at Watford.

He said that everyone he'd spoken to assumed that Watford would win, he said that they can't have watched Leeds recently.

His view of the Leeds v Brighton game was that despite being a man down for a lot of the game Leeds were definitely the better team.

McDermott was shouting at any Leeds players that hoofed it to keep it on the ground and to pass and move.

Personally I'd love us to wrap it up ourselves in style tomorrow, I think if we have a good first 15/20 minutes we can do that.

But maybe we shouldn't write off Leeds giving us a helping hand tomorrow after all.

Yeah, a poor record but apparently some signs of improvement recently.

I guess the players will be trying to impress McDermott before he starts his summer clear out.

Watford will be expected to win, however I have a sneaky feeling they'll find Leeds a better opponent than Blackburn in their last home match, mind you that wouldn't be difficult, once the first goal went in Blackburn fell apart.

There have been some improvements recently, but as Austin and Diouff got sent off in their last game, I think they're ****ed.

Leeds once had a manager who tried to do that. If my memory serves me right, he was sacked after 40 days and was so bad that they made a film about it. <whistle>

I heard on radio some fella thought Watford were a home banker, I disagree. They Might edge it but a banker they are not. Both teams to draw for me tomorrow.

watford are a banker. They have to be.

Not sure what the odds are but I'd expect 1/2 . Home form vs Leeds away form and so on.. from a betting point of view they're a banker. From a football point of view... anything can happen.

We already passed and moved the ball better than any side in Europe under the great Don Revie before Clough the piss head **** came along and tore the side apart <ok>

Could have something to do with the fact Revie never managed in club football after 1974, and Clough carried on for a good 20 years after that. Who knows what Revie would have achieved had he stayed at Leeds for the same amount of time. Probably as much if not more than Clough, guess we'll never know. But the original post stated Leeds weren't a great footballing side under Revie, which simply isn't true.

Anyway good luck to Hull next season, far more deserving of promotion than Watford
