Not trying to defend that error but he sort of made up for it when they broke 3 on 1 against him from a set piece of ours, got in the way of the man with the ball then hauled him down in their half to stop the attack, took one for the team. Very clever and stopped an almost definite goal.
If we decided not to play a player, just because of a single error, then there'd be nobody on the pitch tomorrow.
I thought he'd have been very handy in the last 3 games too. Those are the types of games he's effective in and could have scored or assisted some valuable points.
Aye not up to this level but those gritty games, specially the long balls are where his strengths can become a valuable asset. I'm sure he'd have done better than anyone we had up there the last 2 games the way they both ended up going.
Bruce Jnr is apparently available so he'll have to play. Hopefully it's at CB if he does feature. I know Bruce Snr won't change the formation, but I'm pretty sure we'll need a 4-4-2, with players like Kim and Whittingham in their side you need to double up sometimes. The 3-5-2 does tend to leave the flanks exposed, especially if the WB decides they can't be arsed. I mean it hasn't been working for 3 or 4 games now, so if we don't change the personnel or the formation, what exactly will change?
Stocky Chester Faye Hobbs Elmo. Brady Meyler Bruce Quinn Boyd Simmo If fryatt plays I will be seriously pissed off. Wouldn't even have him on the bench.
