Scott Sinclair could be available, we need pace right? He's a good talent and I'd for one would welcome him here, they can't expect to make money on him so I think 6 million is good value. Views? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...ws-in-brief-from-across-English-football.html
Good player if given a chance.. But http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...canio-i-can-t-think-of-signings-yet-1-5641506
Fair do's like. I don't blame him but we can still look at potential signings. Sinclair would be a shrewd bit of business for any mid/bottom table club, british, cheap, young and talented.
Di Canio would get the best out of him, because Mancini has killed his progress he made at Swansea, take Rodwell aswell, can't believe it when people sign players just to sit on a bench or in Sinclair's case in the stands.
The way it looks anybody would be forgiven for thinking Mancini is deliberately trying to stunt English talent.
I agree, look at Fergie, When he buys expensive youth (Smalling, Jones, even rooney) he plays them. he plays them around world class experience to help compensate and they still win titles.
That's how you build a dynasty, not a one off team, you build for long term success not just the present, if he doesn't buy correctly this team will disappear, look at Chelsea Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Bertrand, Azpilacueta, all going to be around a while I think.
I love the stuff this bloke says - but I bet any money he has told Ellis of the players he will wont for next season if we stay up!
Not for me now. Dont want him or that other wannabe Hoilett. Would rather push the boat out for Tom Ince who is a real potential young player.
It's a yes from me this one. Different altogether to Hoillett, he went thinking he could make a mark, he didn't get the chance. I think the lad has a lot about him, although he did dip quite dramatically towards the end at Swansea, and if the price is right, I think he could be a very decent buy. Would absolutely prefer Ince but will be megabucks.
Would or could there have been a clause in Sinclair's contract for Swansea to have first refusal on having him back? Also with Swansea being in Europe next season there going to need a much bigger squad capable of competing, so they may consider Sinclair. Mind, his confidence may be at an all time low, so what's to say he's going to be back to the standard he was at before leaving for Citeh.
It's been that long since I saw him play I can't really comment in if I'd like him to sign. Can't remember him exciting me much when he did play. He did break into the England squad just before he signed for City though!
