For the first time all season I'm starting to feel the nerves (although Hull are the ones under pressure, which is helping a little). I think this is one of those situations where it is out of our hands, and if things don't go our way we have got to be the ones to keep the team going. Win, lose or draw, this has been a fantastic season, and the lads deserve a good send off. A good reaction from the crowd if we don't go up will be especially important. All of the teams we could face in the semi-finals will clinch their place on the last day, and will be on a high as a result. We've got to do our best to match that.
That's the most important thing. They have been outstanding no matter what happens now. We just have to keep going and see where we end up. If we don't go up tomorrow then ideally we want a decent win over Leeds coupled with Hull winning at a canter so the players and staff don't have to go through too much "trauma" ( a relative term given it is, after all, just a game) in the run up to the following week's games.
Exactly, it has been a brilliant season and far above our expectations when it started - we need to enjoy tomorrow, whatever the results around us. Go Malky... http://www.thisishullandeastriding....html#axzz2S7MsQOfu?7851617266&redirected=true
That's pretty much how I feel about us too. It's been a good season, way beyond our expectations at the beginning. The better team WILL go up in 2nd, time will tell if that's us or you, but whoever it is, will deserve it. Good luck in the playoffs!
I think there is nothing to choose between Watford and Hull - the side that goes up is going to be the one that holds its nerve / gets the luck on the day.
Apart from bad decisions etc.... I 100% agree.... both clubs had their chance in the last three weeks and we are still neck and neck....
