Having read the arguments for and against the death penalty, i'm sorry to say i'm sitting on the fence. I can see good and bad in both camps. What i will say is that when arseholes like Bridger are convicted, their sentence should be served to the max. If given life, then the bastard should die in jail. How many times have we seen these menaces released on parole only to get out and commit the self same crimes again. To many of the do-gooders pleading the case for those who are incarserated, these bastards had their chance in the great out-doors and chose a life of crime and depravity. They then bleat on about their human rights. What about the victims and their human rights. And while i'm on, it should be hard labour, why should we foot the bill to give these miscreants all the creature comforts of home.
