How quickly things come around, on Friday its 10 years to the day when we survived the drop to oblivion (imo), and look at what that survival has brought us now. http://www.swanseacity.net/news/article/2003-kev-johns-801765.aspx
Amazing really isnt it . A timely reminder to some posters who think we have a divine right to be beating Chelsea away ..
Haven't seen anyone say we have a divine right to beat Chelsea away, NJ. Far from it. But I agree, we've come such a long way in 10 years.
"some posters who think we have a divine right to be beating Chelsea away". Even though we did beat them away earlier in the season,I don't seem to remember anyone making such a rash statement.
Incredible how far we have come in such a short time - if our story was made into a Hollywood film people would say it was too far fetched! But this is our reality - we have come from the brink of oblivion to the ninth best team in the premier league - you really couldn't make it up! Happy days!!!!!
Highlights. ...And there's this documentary. The introduction is in Dutch but the rest is English. Its in four parts on You Tube, this is the first part.
I was just about to post a link to that but you beat me to it Pagan! the documentary is great - brought a tear to my eye to see how much it meant and brought back the memories of that incredible day. Glad that Exeter sorted themselves out aswell - another club that has fan involvement. Anyway 10 years down the line 9th in the Premier and a major trophy later, the journey hasnt been bad has it!
Cracking video. Uri Geller go bend some spoons. Spoon loving motherfucker! hee hee! Must admit though Exeter have a fitter mascot....
The Grecian goddess I wouldn't having minded bending her over http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUVbrZvmB2g
that day was the true meaning of guts and determination and i want to see that with our remaining games......everyone pulled together that day and it was one of my favorite games of all time....
