(4) Señorita :') ‏@OhhCaroliinaaa Therefore Barcelona Are Considering The "Possibility" Of Selling Cesc Fabregas Back To Arsenal. Despite Cesc NOT Wanting To Leave. ! (5) Cesc and his pesky ego!!!
Well, I don't think that there is too much mystery in that he wants to be at Barcelona. But if he can't play there, I don't think there is anything to make us disbelieve him, when everything points to the fact that he loves Arsenal and would want to play for us above all else. I think he would even qualify as a home-grown player! In all honesty, I am very hopeful. If we buy him we can give Barcelona 25M for him and waive our cut of the sell on. They will end up getting far more from us, than they could ever get from anyone else. We could take him as settlement of their debt with us also, which I think is becoming a problem for them. We would end up neutral on the deal. He gets to be in London with his girls, and we get our captain back. Another signing or two and we are golden. I can see him considering it after the 7-0 humping by BM.
We could get Cesc for less than £15M. They owe us money for both him and Song (not sure if they have even paid us everything for Hleb either). They don't rate him and considering there is 3 years left on his contract, this is their best chance to sell and get the best possible deal for themselves out of him. The ball is firmly in his court, Barca would be happy to sell.
Another interesting piece of the puzzle http://hereisthecity.com/2013/05/02/cesc-fabregas-offers-cryptic-clue-over-arsenal-return/ The last line is (I think) very true even if it is badly written - "All it is though presently is rumour, but Fabregas had a chance on radio today to state categorically his future to Barcelona, but he chose not to, and offered a cryptic response instead."
What people forget is that Cesc has started a vast majority of Barca games this season, and will only play even more, and in his favourite position, next season and the seasons to come.
Why would he come to us? In all seriousness, what do we have over Barca that would make him want to chose us? Even most of his old friends have left the club as well
