There's a rather large difference between a hand job off an intern and assaulting young kids. He's a *****phile. It's really not funny. I hope he suffers for the rest of his miserable existence.
There will be other local news presenters who were around in the 70s who will be found out that they did inappropriate stuff. I always thought MR Hall was a great presenter on North West Tonight and it is a shame that he did what he did for whatever reason. And 99.9999% of celebrities will deny it - look at the vile comments Freddie Starr and his current female partner made about those who had accused him of abuse allegations, and this morning we hear William Roach saying he's innocent.
Until they are found GUILTY or admit to the crime. It,s best not to assume that all celebs are guilty !
I'm surprised he pleaded guilty to be honest. Given his age, and that the last offence took place nearly 30 years ago I would be surprised if he got sent down. On a related topic, I heard something about the other guy from Corrie (not Bill Roach) who is facing sex offence charges. Apparently it hasn't come out in the press yet, but if it is true it makes me sick to my stomach
To clarify dogue I did meant celebrities arrested for such crimes - although at the moment the numbers are increasing

They travelled to Australia on the Rolf Harris one so taking that pretty seriously, am shocked at all this really, we all grew up watching Saville, Harris and its a Knockout- unbelievable that so many of them seem to be utter sickos
The sad thing about these revelations is that anyone who has/had a career that involves contact with children will have their motives questioned.
