In the same Fail article that mentions ticket price cuts, it says Jenas will be off as he has a relegation get out clause. Also that Spurs pay part of his salary. Obviously to be taken with a sack of salt. Hope not as I like this lad (when fit). Can still do a bit of box to box, ran the show against Sunderland and a proper pro.
One of the players that "could" be pivotal for us next year... Was never a fan but now converted. a MUST KEEP player IMHO!
Strange this as he was quoted in saying that he would stay & enjoys it here unless harry's had change of heart.
Do you remember what free papers you get given out on my airline mate , always plenty left lying around the hall..........
Spurs pay part of his salary????? WTF! We bought him... he didn't come on loan, what the **** is the 'journo' at the mail going on about?
Do they.... I know this was reported but i thought it was bollocks, it all sounded well iffy to me... Didn't City have to give him a large pay off in lieu of the wages that he wouldn't be earning up front rather than continue to pay salary to someone who is no longer under contract with them.
Dont believe a word of that as Jenas has gone on record to say he feels a loyalty to this club after we showed faith in him despite past injury problems. Although I do suspect he is on a kind of 'loan' from Spurs and that we are not paying his full wages.
Whatever happens, happens. We just have to pick up the pieces and go from there. But what should be done is setting a deadline for player sales (the ones we want to keep). If a club hasn't been come in for you before, say August 1st, then you have to stay. There must be boundaries set for the club to be able to plan properly.
