OT - Cerny, Northolt and Imaz

What's happened to those three boys?

Cerny had his annual meltdown (as predicted by Stan two months ago) and was banned. How long for? Is he gone for good?

North left due to the plagiarism debacle. Has anyone been in contact with him? Will he ever return?

And Imaz, what's happened to him?

Its a pity that three characters such as these are not with us any more, particularly Northy who almost single-handedly set up this Board in the first place. Whatever else about them, they certainly added a buoyancy and entertainment to the Forum.

This place ain't the same without them IMO.

I had a PM from Imaz (Cheers for the info Imaz) ... he is having a rest, I agree place is worse without him ... very intelligent man.

It is a shame that Northolt has not posted for a long while but he says that he has given it a break for a while.
Most of the people who came from the old 606, came because of Northy recommending this place.
As you say he put a lot of effort in every day to get this place really up and running

Agreed. The place is the poorer without all 3 IMHO, but particularly Northy.

Cerny got banned for having a row with someone when I was already banned so that wasn't me.
North had a row with someone over plagiarising sh*t and left. So THAT wasn't me.
Imaz? Well I don't know if his absence has anything to do with me but I don't think a guy like that would be spooked so easily by some clown.

Northolt and imaz are missed but cerny was just a little pleb anyway so isnt really missed

 

North spend most of his time on Twitter now.

Speak to him on occaision & he said was having a break. Not sure how long for though.

I'll make this short and sweet.

Contrary to popular belief I do not harbour multiple accounts on here, I have only created this account to set the record straight

My issue was on a number of levels, ie why was an OT forum out to vote when it was clear from the outset the main mod was going to make his own mind up.anyway? I then started getting a lot of unwarranted stick from pratts like DT over the swords issue even though the bloke was clearly in the wrong.

But mainly why the **** did the mods allow wums to continue to post on here? Surely they saw it coming? Maybe I overreacted but come on how much ****ing evidence do you need for Christ sake?

No warning just a permanent ban, so all trust lost in mods I'm afraid

So in summary I won't be coming on here again as I have no intention to apologise or kiss ass over what happened with those pricks on the Swansea board. It's ironic how much you people talk in ones absence and since when did we like ****ing Swansea fans.

So Steve contact mel and get in touch but for the rest of you it's au revoir it was fun but all good things come to an end

OK, Against my better judgement I will respond (had hoped this thread would plummet).

All this took place before I was appointed so this is purely my take on it (I have never enquired about the circumstances surrounding SR's ban but I think you'll all see that it is fairly self apparent).

I'd guess there's no point asking for something that nobody wants. Brix said that he tried as many avenues as possible and I don't think he is a man that would idly waste his hours - he assumed there was a chance (I don't know how big he thought that was) until he found out otherwise.

The evidence, as clearly stated before, should come in the form of a thread and number, citing the complaint. The process includes a review between mods and an evaluation of whether to uphold the complaint or not (in accordance with the rules).

On the subject of WUMS, the thread that caused, and I paraphrase from memory "the most complaints they've [Brix/NUTS] received seen in a few hours" was inspired by SR's wumming on the Swansea board and their mod's reluctance to ban him (in the form of a jovial plea to do something about our own poster).

I won't go back over the gory details of what he said but I will say that, in law, a three strike ban doesn't run to acts of terrorism, for example, so there's a consideration of the gravity of offence.

Just my opinion as an outsider (as I was then).

Anyhoo, this thread isn't offering anything new (and I have no intention of opening old cans of worms further) so you've got about 30 minutes amongst yourselves before this thread gets closed.

You're spot on re. no complaints received re. visiting WUMS barring SeanDCFC who was subsequent banned. SR did PM a complaint but the post he highlighted turned out to be nothing more than acceptable banter. Certainly nothing we could recommend banning action for.

I will PM you with the link to the relevant mod board thread that shows the genuine efforts made to facilitate a sub forum (and responses to the blank) - even though only two or three responding to the consultation called for one.

As for the mods and Supermod's reaction first to SR's behaviour on the Swansea board, then the 'disgusting' comments on here re. Chico's recent condition and offers of 'meets' implying violence, they're all on the FAObrb thread (starts page 92 post #1839).

Totally unacceptable to all concerned.
