We looked decent in the first half. Went in at half time at 2-1 down. Stupid cross field ball from Johnson that Larson decided it wasn't worth a challenge and stood like a tin of milk as their full back took the ball I opposed and stormed into our half. Hopefully we got all our errors out.

Everyone last night did something stupid. Cuellar has to go, he can't play another season. Bardsley the same. Larson was woeful on the left. He never got going. Gardner had an off night. Sess was never really in the game. It was never a red but no way will the FA overturn it. Just won't happen. So who plays now in our ever decreasing squad????

Needs evolution not revolution. whole sale changes can very dangerous at this level...see QPR. We need to keep the core of this team and add a couple maybe 3 at every transfer window. The players you mention I completely agree we need to replace, but in stages, not in one go.

I thought we were also terrible first half and deservedly went in behind at half time.

Have to agree, first half I thought was a very good away display, then we just fell apart.

2nd goal was criminal I was screaming about not backing off, sadly that has been a massive problem all season, and one that will only be solved wit CB's with quality and a bit of pace.

RB , CB & LM are desperate, and the world knows we need another striker, watching Villa last night I was massively impresses, as I have been since Christmas, with the excellent Lowton, shame he won't be available as they will be up now, he'd be perfect for RB.

Mig had a mare, I'd suggest on his game he'd have stopped 4 of those, but I'd forgive Mig anything after the season he's had, it's a totally different game if Mig has a good day.

That doesn't, by the way, excuse the performances of Cuellar, Bardo & Larsson, who were all utterly fecking hapless. I didn't actually think O'Shea had a bad game, simply that all the danger and threat was away from him, although he did get beasted in the air by the sensation that is Benteke.

How bardo is anywhere near the team is beyond me.

You can tell he was a Keane signing

Give Bardo his dues mate, he has been a very good player for us, especially given the tiny fee, the pre-season injury, well he doesn't get up and down, and he seems stand -off in the tackle, it's done for him.

It happens, but as such, you are right in the he should not be near the first XI now.

Colback is a better right back than Bardsley - and he isn't a right back !

O'Shea used to be a top player but can't pass the ball to another player for toffee - couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo !

I think it is the return from the clouds that is really depressing me.

Bardo has been great in the past and I was/am a big fan of his but last night he was terrible. I don't know what happened to Gardner either. First 15 minutes he was great, getting into the box making things happen and then he just disappeared for the rest of the game.

We need 2 new centre halfs, neither are premiership standard. Oshea is in his thinking but he is just too slow now.

We must sign Rose, we must get Fletcher fit.

If Mig has to drop 6 clangers in a season then i prefer them all to be in the 1 game like last night and perform brilliantly the rest of the season.
Saying that No Excuse for Poor defending, passing, marking and Getting forward quickly. WE NEED QUALITY in the close season not the Relegated clubs 'star men' and this is what previous managers have been buying!!!

Lets hope it was a one off.
I thought they looked complacent after the last two games believing they only had to turn up and the points were theirs. A massive kick in the town halls will have brought them back down to earth with a big thud.

They need to play on Monday with the determination and confidence they had against Newcastle & Everton and getting the 3 points we desperately need. Stoke could come up here with a "we are safe" and not give a toss or they could come up here with a "no pressure lets go for it" attitude. If its the latter the pressure will really mount on us.
Also think a few thousand will be lost on the gate next week after the crap they served up last night.
