...can at least feel pleased that they were part of the biggest away following in the Championship this season.

We narrowly beat the previous record, which was the 5,952 the Wendies took to Derby.

Sheff is not all that far from anywhere in England - very few grounds in the North and Midlands more than 100 miles away - no wonder they get good support

Out of interest where did you get the figure 5,969?

The match report on the OWS has it down as 5,909. Which unfortunately would let the Wendies win!

I wonder how many 'unofficial' fans that sat with the home crowd that we can add to that figure? We know Tickler went in a suit, so as not to be spotted <laugh>

It's from Pricing Playbook, who are a sports marketing company that put up stats on attendances, pricing etc...

Nice site, I've never come across it before.

Although I'd treat it with caution, there are a few errors, like this little gem on the link you posted.

'Attendances in the Championship where strong for both rounds, with Cardiff City achieving the most impressive attendances by selling out both there fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City respectively.'

That's all well and good, but it's when we thought we were about to go up.

Both home and away attendances have been decreasing this season, when compared to previous seasons, which is bizarre since we've been more successful this year.

so a bit random AKCJ but when you're usually on here you're giving abuse or, to be fair, taking it......let's try be sensible for a while......what are your thoughts on flat-head, you think your owners will show him the door a la the usual oversea owners or do you think he'll be given to Xmas.....MON in the wings and all that....owners have spent a lot of wonga down there, one of the favs to go up & chances are you won't make the play offs.....and before you think otherwise I'm no WUM, just trying to gauge the feeling down your neck of the woods...

    In a suit was i ? Hhhhmmmmm :emoticon-0149-no:

The fact that one gangway of stairs was blocked with standing fans could mean we had more than has been declared in the away end. Just saying like.

You know it only takes 2 members of the public to section someone, so if you find out who he is its easily possible. Could lighten up your Saturday should we lose...

I've already tried three times, I've even had a padded cell installed next to the bogs on the concourse behind W8.

    ****er keeps escaping.

Indeed. Was right in the middle of some of those flares that went off.

Glad you think so. If it was that simple then OLM would not be at saturdays game.
