Because that challenge is just SO bad. I know Danny has not had the best of seasons, but I've not seen him pull out a challenge as nasty as that before. Gets worse every time I see it.
So, that's his holiday booked, maybe Ramirez wants to share a taxi?

After a week of talking up our European chances next season, I'd like to think that the WBA result can now help the team focus on finishing this season on a high note. Forget the red cards, we were dominated and out thought.
So, up next without a recognised left back.......the players player of the year, yey.

I haven't seen him do a tackle that bad before but he does like to dive in. Got sent off against Birmingham last year I think, for a couple of similarly (although nowhere near as bad) strong challenges.

Will the fact that he was already on a yellow before he got his straight red affect what his punishment will be?

Maybe he was as totally pissed off as we were with the abject performance and that awful ball from Davis was the final straw. Something went missing in the wiring, that's for certain. So, step up Mr Forren and meet that nice Mr Bale! Now that would be a debut.

Oh and you forgot to add to the list that we were mightily crap. Most inept display for years.

I don't think we'll see Forren. Clyne left, Cork right is my guess. Maybe Yoshida right. I'd be very surprised to see Forren start though.

Might see Fonte again as CB then, with Yoshida on right and Clyne on left. We have been missing Shaw (sorry to keep harping on) and would have several more points if he hadn't been injured/ill in recent weeks.

I can only speak from having seen the highlights this morning, and I appreciate one only sees the important bits there, but it looked to me that we played well enough, but that nothing we did was successful, and practically everything WBA did came off. Apart from that, we had more possession and didn't make use of it. From the highlights, I didn't see anyone having more of an off-day than usual. There was plenty of endeavour, plenty of effort, plenty of intensity. We just came across a team that was the equal and more to our style of play. By playing 3 fast and strong strikers, WBA, when they did have the ball, used them to great effect, and exposed our inherent defensive weakness to pace and power, and we were largely beaten on the counter attack. It reminded me slightly of Bayern v Barca, and you can guess which team was which. They were simply better than us, and I suspect that if we were to play them again next week, with all the same players, they might well beat us again.

There was no fight at all, apart from Clyne and Boruc. Everyone looked like they were on holiday already. It was one of the poorest displays I have ever seen.

They do realise that we're technically still in a relegation battle don't they?

I don't know why Clyne's getting praise for this game, he attacked well, as usual, but was at least partly to blame for all of the goals, and looked incredibly uncomfortable against the strength of Lukaku and Fortuné.

I'm not saying he was great, I'm saying at least he tried. The whole team was crap but Boruc and Clyne stood out as they put in more effort then the rest. Which wasn't that hard tbh.

Well I can't say I particularly noticed a lack of effort from anyone (at least before the game was effectively over), it was just that we were outplayed.

I'm sure it was nothing personal from Fox. He even became the first player to take a good corner. I have heard good things about Targett too but surely that would be suicidal. Maybe Forren, is he really a left back or was that an urban myth? Otherwise with no Shaw, Clyne LB Yoshida RB would be my guess.

I wouldn't have minded if we had lost to a better team but had tried but we didn't. The team looked on holiday mode and had switched off completely hence the boo's at half time and full time. Yes West Brom played well but we made it very very easy for them. For a few of the players it's worse I have ever seen them play, I would say names but I can't be bothered.

Like to see this, but Poch doesn't seem to want to use him. Not sure why, looked capable in his limited Premiership appearences.
