To be fair to Bernstein he has said Suarez will never be seen playing for England so there is some equanimity with his well thought out comments, and Rio never refused to shake his hand so it follows is not as guilty as others who have transgressed the same set of rules...

    When is that pr*ck off?

I think we need to leave the who did what and should get what stuff now.

the issue at hand is REALLY the terrible state of affairs at the disciplinary procedure state of our game.

    1. we need a citing process with checks and balances. my club should be able to cite a player on the opposing team, a citing officer should also look at the game and judge it so independently assess issues base don visual evidence.

    2. we need a real INDEPENDANT disciplinary penalty system, i don't mind "fa" payment of that panel or "FA" members but i do have a problem with certain influences all coming from one club etc.

    3. We need to improve the appeals process with a link to the sports court of arbitration. For example we don't want 20 appeals week cos appeals are easy but we don't want the situation where an appeal is seen as some sort of scumbag move either.

    5. referees should not be vilified or undermined by a process where breaches of the rules are or are not seen. Refs are NOT gods no matter what fifa want us to work to. they should not be having to make **** up just to get out of bother or deal with all this stuff in tunnels and so forth.

    6. we need to have CLEAR and unambiguous rules as to what punishments occur. It is highly troubling that this 3 man so called independent panel which was an rubber stamp only effectively stated that cos someone else did something and they dealt with that with a 6 match cos this was more serious it was 10. thats balls. I think if suarez bit someone on the opening day then he would have got 6 not 10. that's stupid.

Reality check biting is socially unacceptable, headbuts are not more manly, neither are gouging, spitting, stamping or other such offenses. Just create a serious violent conduct code that applies, I mean come on! someone bit someone shock, use it to improve the structure and rules now not faff about it its summer then forget about it.

I saw the new ref having to send 3 guys off this weekend, each one was perfectly good sending off, the first was an elbow which can break bones and damage an eye. the third was a disgraceful challenge that should be cited for serious foul play and the ban increased. the second was merely an idiot pushing and acting the hard ass...

I'd like to see the rules be able to speedily and automatically increase the bans on 1 and 3 to 6 games and no 2 be given his 3 and a slap round the ear.

FIFA and its members and the other FAs around the world hate the FA with a passion. When the FA ran things for world football they were the most unfairest and exclusive governing body, far worse than FIFA.

A bit ironic the media are moaning about the FA's double standards.

Also ironic a room full of shirt-pullers, air-card-wavers and cry-babies should vote for a proven diver like Bale, then boo Suarez after they voted him 2nd.
