Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has released another social media tirade, this time lambasting players from his parent club.

Barton, who is on loan at Marseille for the season, made his comments after Rangers were relegated with Reading following the 0-0 draw between the teams at the Madejski Stadium.

The 30-year-old singled out Jose Bosingwa for criticism and opined the club were in danger of free-fall, amid his expletive-ridden tweets.

"I can't believe QPR have just been relegated and Bosingwa was walking down the tunnel laughing," Barton stated on Twitter.

"Embarrassing. Show some guts man. Some good lads but not enough. Too many maggots.

"Hope they can get a load out, if not they'll end up in a Wolves situation. League table doesn't lie. Both sides haven't won enough games to deserve to stay up.

"Reading in a better position than QPR though."

Barton is also part of the problem and not the solution, but he is very much right about this.

Yes but the scary part if you read on with his tweets, he very much sounds like he's saying I'll come back if you want me!!

This twat could be playing Champions league football for Marseilles next season. Let's hope his ego drives him to cancel his contract with us no strings and accept the (relative) pittance that Marseilles can afford to pay him.

Don't care if he is right or wrong, don't like him commenting at all on my club.

He's well off target. Harry and all the players were joking and laughing at the end of the game. So f*kkin what! You need gallows humour at funerals.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But wasn't it last season while losing at Sunderland that Barton was photographed laughing and joking on the bench?

He has been a prick of late, but to be fair he probably did play more for the team then some of them players that have been playing for us (not literally for us though let it be said!)

For once i agree with him but still don't want him back even though he could have done better than some of our lot this season.

Ok, deep breath, here we go.

    I would have him back.

We wanted guts, passion, backbone and effort and that man has plenty of that. Most of his negative points are a direct consequence of his strengths. For example, the red mist is because he has passion and a desire to win which spills over inappropriately at times.

Is he the ideal QPR player? No. Would we choose him over Tonwsend? No. We may not have the choice. JB coming back would make economic sense for the owners and he is more than capable of doing a job for us in the NPC.

I know the passion with which most on this board disregard this man and never wish him to play for The Hoops again. Had we finished low mid table, I'm certain JB would have been gone in the summer. I just think that relegation is rather a game changer and The Board will be looking at all options very carefully.

I've just posted a slightly pro Bosingwa post in daverangers thread so looks like I'm looking for abuse this fine Monday morning!! I'm honestly not as those who know me through my posts will know.

We just need to look at the very biggest picture at present.

"It's the club and supporters I feel for," said Barton. "They don't get the chance to move club or switch alliances, they are left to pick up the bits.

"Lot of those within that dressing room have to have a good long look in the mirror. Spoke to a few of the better lads over the course of the season and it seems things just became ridiculous in the end.

"It seems an awful lot must change if they are to have any chance of turning it around next year. The club needs to change from top to bottom. I wish them every success in doing that.

"Believe it or not I am actually gutted for QPR - I reckon more than some of the current playing squad.

"If the media want to slag me off for saying players shouldn't laugh after they've been relegated, so be it. If I worked all week and paid to watch my team and I'd seen that. I'd be fuming.

"I don't care what level you play at. That's wrong."

Regardless of what people think of Joey Barton, we missed him this season....the baggage he comes with can be offset with his leadership skills.

Would I have him back? Probably not as we can find someone with those qualities and no baggage. But we could of done with him in the side this year.

The first player to write an autobiography from that dressing room will get a best seller, straight away.

We did miss him, I just wish he wasn't such a twat, then it would make taking him back a bit easier. But he did prove with Newcastle that he's a battler. He stayed with them when they went down and was a big influence on getting them back up.

But something Barton is very good at, apart from being a twat and a decent footballer, is picking up on the obvious and singing along to that tune. We all know the failings at the club, so no need for him to pipe up about it. But he leaves out the bit about him being instrumental in Warnocks downfall and starting the revolt in the dressing room. Without that things may have been different with Warnock.

But if you do read through all of Bartons comments, it very much sounded as if he was trying to get on side with the fans again, and while he did state that Marsielle have made him an offer to stay, he states that he is our player and up to us where his future lies. He basically states that if we made him come back, he'd put everything in to getting us back up. This is a complete turn around in just a few short weeks from his comments where he basically said he'd never come back.

Now I know for most his comments don't mean a thing, and would never entertain the thought of him coming back, but I can't help that feel with him in midfield next season it would make the task a whole lot easier.

But god why does he have to be the twat that he is??
