Are they QPR basically knackered with all those highly paid mercenaries there? Signing someone on a £100k a week in January just shows how stupid and I'll thought out their campaign was.

I suspect a fire sale at the club as they try and cut costs, or do a Portsmouth and implode. I wonder if they got contracts that take into account relegation like our club has.

On the other end of the extreme Reading they hardly spend any money on promotion, so they have gone down with almost the same team they came up with. Not a lot more to say about them but sacking their manager didn't work.

Can't say in disappointed about QRP going down. Feel for Reading, as there a decent club. With Adkins at the helm they could make a swift return, can't see QPR doing it, they will make whole sale changes in the summer. The team that starts next season won't resemble the one they have know, they will be like rats leaving a sinking ship now.

Bet Dilli is having a pint now there officially relegated. QPR are a piss poor side, you do have to wonder what will happen to them.

I won't miss them in the slightest, a classless bunch on here, that had it in for us from the start, and gloated over the chance of us to fail at Wembley in the play-off final, and they were all over the reading board that season, giving it big with do it for England, "we don't want the sheep Sh**** in the premier League, keep the Welsh out" as if they could anyway, but glad they are gone, and I hope they never return, complete scumbags!............<ok>

From what I've heard from some QPR types there weren't relegation wage decreases written into the contracts for the new players (aside from Samba). Not sure how true this is but it doesn't bode well if it is true.
Feel for reading but part of me is smiling for the abuse I went through watching the play-off final in a pub full of them hehe. thankfully there were a couple of Norwich fans to keep me company!

So if they do have a fire sale are there any QPR players you'd like to see join the swans? (obv wages etc would prevent this in all likelihood but if money was no object would any of them grab a berth in next years Swans team?)
I like granero (from what I saw with Madrid) and think he would suit our style but can't think of many others.

Interesting point raised by Stevejack. Money factor apart, are there any players you guys would consider signing from QPR or Reading? We were in for Mackie (probably a stop gap for DG) earlier in the season but I really don't want him. Taraabt (?) is a big talent but comes with attitude. Robson Kanu could be decent as an inexpensive home grown squad player. Perhaps Hoilett? Then there's that new French striker at QPR, can't recall his name but he looks the part. Anyone tickle your fancy?

Ivor if i am honest i dont fancy any of those you mentioned, I dont think they would get anywhere near our squad. aprt from maybe Remy, but his wages would be right out of our league. Why do you think he left a team 2nd in the french league to join a team bottom of the PL. I also think there is nothing in the Reading squad either. Maybe the young keeper as back up. Having said all that I do like Andros Townsend and there has been a thread linking us to him, but i suppose he is a spurs player after all.

On QPR going down, It couldnt happen to a nicer club, Phil you are right they gave it large when we went up and the Racist comments from them went on. My last 2 visits to Loftus road have been met with nothing but abuse from all those brave souls behind the police in the Springbok. They have just thrown money at players for what appers to be the sake of it and have no team spirit whatsoever. Frankly a horrible club. I just hope that they continue to struggle and slide further down the league. As for Reading good luck next year guys.

Loic Remy (£8m) would fit straight into our front line perfectly, and I rate him highly, he's the only player worth his weight at Loftus road that I'd take, and boy do we need someone of his ability in front of goal!..................<cheers>

Its the wages phil, I dread to think what salary he is on. Could end up with Samba being the highest paid players in League 1.
