Right let's get the ball rolling with this Alex McQuade from Bolton Wanderers is going to be signing for us. He is the trialist on recent reserves games. Plays in defence. http://www.bwfc.co.uk/team/player-profile/index.aspx?playerid=419927&tcmuri=227861 Strong in the tackle and capable of clever distribution to the midfield areas, McQuade is capable of playing at either left-back or in a more central role. Stick any rumours, truths etc down on this thread.
Saw him play for the reserves at left back. Looked OK but difficult to assess against very weak opposition (even Bradshaw scored). Distribution good but never really pressurised.
even bradshaw scored! now come on he has been our mainstay in the reserves, and is quickly proving his worth in the first team belatedly. doubtless he may score a couple today if picked, or assists.
Flattered to deceive today, yet again. Strikers are there to score goals and he never looked likely to do so. He ought to be released but I can see him being retained only as a make weight.
After a few too many ales after the match yesterday I was in Montgomery Towers pub and talked to Morgan as he was buying a big round of drinks for about six of the squad including Jacobson and richards.
Does this mean GT is apprehensive about the chances of getting Mambo? We won't have room for them all. Mind you, it would be good to have some non-Rob Purdie cover at LB
Mambo has his heart set on making it at Charlton, and I wouldn't be surprised if their scouts have been impressed with what they've seen of him. I don't think he's ready for the Championship just yet, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see him given another couple of years there and back on loan at this level next year, albeit with a bigger club.
If we have Summerfield, McAllister, Hall, Wildig on the books and potentialy McGinn coming in then we don't technically need any. Although I still think we are weak in CM and need someone to boss the area.

Lowe should have happened last season-as I keep banging on about. Asante has been offered a new contract with Birmingham.

Well it looks like we might be making some signings this week http://www.shropshirestar.com/sport...rewsbury-closing-in-on-their-latest-signings/ Cody McDonald looking a likely target
