... John Terry has apparently made himself 'available' for international selection again.

I said back at the time of his trial and FA hearing that this was just a smoke screen and that he'd change his tune once the dust settled. I hate to be proved right in this, but I guess maybe I had the guy sussed all along.

Oh, by the way, in my opinion, he should be ignored, which would send him a pretty clear messge that he's neither needed or wanted any more.

 

Like it. JT plays "The nation's messiah." Perhaps he should. He could then do one of his accidental fouls where he has a foul-mouthed rant at his opponent and knees him when he thinks that he is out of sight of one of 200 Sky cameras trained on him. The Chelsea PR machine can then go into overdrive again to say how much he does for charity, how all his best mates are not white and how nobody saw him do anything wrong at all. Ever.

 

If he's not first choice at Chelsea he shouldn't be considered. Then again he shouldn't considered because he's a selfish c*nt...

No obsession, Swords - it's just that back when we were regularly arguing about his behaviour, I said that his 'retirement' was just a ploy to get the headlines on the morning before his hearing, and that once it had all settled down, he'd do a u-turn. I was just pointing out that, after all the arguments and all the posturing, that in this instance I had called it right all along.

I don't think you should be blowing your own trumpet with such industry anyway Willy. Was there anyone on this entire Site that ever suggested John Terry was anything other than a vainglorious charlatan, out to enhance his own agenda at all times? You appear to have forgotten that our arguments were about Anton Ferdinand's reaction to an on-field spat with Terry and not about Terry's moral fibre. You also appear to have forgotten that I repeatedly stated what I thought of Terry and that it wasn't complimentary.

What I do remember vividly however, is that on two occasions you couldn't hack the disagreement I had with you over the Ferdinand issue and you skulked off into the shadows, only to return (on both occasions) some months later with your tail between your legs.
