Now we get to achieve promotion at the KC in front of a packed house. How perfect is that?? The table doesn't lie but we have over achieved a little this season so far. At the start of the season most of us would have snapped anyones hands off offering us a playoffs spot, and Im not going to see that as a negative if thats what we end up with. We're 2nd ffs, with 1 game to go, and no actual in form or fit striker. Pissed off about today and Bristol? Sure. But by anyones measure it's still been a good season beyond most of ours wildest expectations.
Lets face it, after getting pipped at the post by Watford and throwing away an unbelievable position this team of bottlers will get blown away by either of Bolton or Palarse. It's championship football for us next season.
Like happy clapper says we can now be all together in the KC if it happens it's a perfect If not the Championship will be top draw next season, some massive teams and very competitive, far more enjoyable than the EPL
Having watch football for a lot of years, what will be will be. There are always defining moments in the crucial games, and if our destiny is to go up this year it will happen. If not like Cardiff the last few years, we just have to learn from it and strengthen for next season.
Does anyone know what exactly happened with some so called fans abusing the players at the end? I hope it doesn't affect them.. But i honestly think we will scrape a win against cardiff.. I have no idea why but i just have a feeling..
Great, we're going to seal it at the kc, where we haven't played well since Leeds. Joy(!) I'm the eternal optimist when it comes to city but **** me it's gets hard to stay relaxed when they play like that, (again).
Never saw it, mind you I had a family of typical knobheads behind me. They were in Row JJ I think seats 51/2/3/4/5/6. The old man moaned all the way through the game, obviously never played football his thick ****ing wife and brain dead 20 something son also mirrored his old fella. We left before the game finished, had I stayed any longer I be in more trouble.
There were some real twats at the game today, moaning even when we started okay and they hadn't scored. I really don't understand what's happened with our support in recent years.
I can't be arsed to write it out again, read my post in klutz thread about plastic fans... Explains everything
I thought we were a shambles for the full 90! There were some right Chavs following the tigers today. ****ing too many neck tattoos.
TWS will do us a favour on the last day and draw with Watford (they're still smarting from the playoff final when they ****ed them 3-0)....we'll still need a point but I reckon we'll get it.
There were some right moaning ****s following the tigers today. ****ing West Stand mute flaskers on tour and too many Tiger suits.
Copied off another thread, this is the type of fan we had there today Talking of plastic fans, there was one right behind me who kept shouting "what are you all doing up there? You're not going to score from our own half, why aren't you getting up the pitch?" every time Barnsley were taking a goal kick, free kick, or when they were attacking. Don't think there's any wonder where this sudden surge of tickets has come from...
I detest fans who have never played football and think they know.. I'll tell you and so will others that have played/play that it isn't the same as armchair FIFA.. and the worst thing for me is having no influence on Hull City, sometimes I've wished I could be out there playing even though I'm a very average 41 year old amateur.. this is very painful watching them struggle.. One goal vs Cardiff will change everything..
originalminority, I sit in the West stand after many years in the South stand both at the KC & Boothferry, I object to your stupid childish remarks about mute West Standers and the bloody childish " flaskers" remark. We all support the team & actually pay more than you to watch. If we choose to sing or shout or moan it is **** all to do with you, gobby twat.
Got to agree with Lakeside view, this constant sniping of West Standers is getting right up my nose. I have supported The tigers since the 1950's and now do a round trip of 500 miles from my home in Wiltshire to every home game, and feel I have paid my dues and earned my stripes.
