just as poor as last time we played them....

Hopefully AVB is still learning things... like Naughton adds very litle, Walker needs competition (even if it's Kaboul), Parker adds nothing (how many goals has he scored for us?), Holtby and Thud need to learn to play in more dangerous areas.

Thud wont cut his hair until he scores, but if he plays next to daws then he wont. Defoe needs to come deeper sometimes to link play.

Dempsey needs to find a new team.

A Perennial Tottenham problem, I'm afraid. When the going gets tough, Spurs get going. Unfortunately, it's always in the wrong direction!..

not sure why AVB thinks Naughton is a better bet than BAE.

He was part of our relatively successful CL campaign, has finished 4th twice....

The real questions should be why Gylfi wasn't on instead of Clint.

Oh well. Played ****e and got a point, could be worse.

Absolutely pathetic. We do not deserve to get a CL spot. It's as simple as that. If we can't beat Wigan with our season riding on it, even when they gift us two comedy goals, there's no helping us.

Chelsea are lucky. They have been given hundreds and hundreds of millions in exchange for their soul.

His decision making is woeful. Never gives himself enough time to produce anything useful and therefore there is no end product.

Will take a point today. That was terrible. Credit to Wigan though. They had us sussed and we had no answers.
Games like today, bale should've had a stint out on the left. It was like a brick wall Wigan had set up to stop us and all we did was huff and puff - for far too long before any significant change was made.

What was the BAE sub all about? Pointless.

I'm confident arsenal will get beaten tomorrow, so it's not a bad result away at Wigan today. We all know what they are like at this stage of the season. (And the fact they seem to becoming a read headache for us!!)

What an absolutely awful second half performance that was. Wigan can be extremely disappointed not to take all three points, even if Gomez should've been sent off.
We lost all shape and cohesion when the subs came on and nobody seemed to know where they were supposed to be playing.
Where Bale and Dempsey were nowhere, Holtby sort of drifted between the left and the middle and the defence was all over the place.

Villas-Boas has been out thought by Martinez in both games this season and it'd be interesting to see what he could do with a better group of players on a better pitch.
I'll be surprised if he's still at Wigan in a couple of seasons.

Need Man Utd and Swansea to do us a couple of favours now and we've handed the momentum back.
Makes all of that work against City seem like a waste.
