.. agreed but with Konchesky likely to start, the most obvious culprit on that front is already on ...
um... I personally hope you win, not just cos I am a Tiger, but cos I want you to at least make the playoffs.
I may get some stick for this but I feel that for this must win game both King and Konchesky have got to be dropped and the team should be: Kasper De Laet Morgan Keane Schlupp Knockaert Drinkwater James Dyer Wood Nugent The reason for this is King may not show up something you cant risk in a must win game and he is still effective from the bench (sometimes better) Konchesky has been a liability all season and even not his natural position Schlupp is a better option for me especially as he has the pace to keep up with players I think the only reason Konchesky has been such a liability is due to losing a few yards. The pairing of nugent and wood does work, if you remember this is how we played when wood first joined and I believe that nugent has the experience to partner wood leading the attack. The only weak areas of the team for me are keane at the back (due to the lack of experience) but hopefully big wes steps up and leads from the back. Drinkwater at his best will boss the mid but that is another if! If we win this one the image of stevey claridge scoring that winner in the 96 playoff final will be all the confidence I need in going up!! utf!!
I disagree, I think that King has been performing very well recently and is looking like the King of old, and with our strikers misfiring (although less so recently) he's always good value for a goal. It's nice to see him play with James- I've been crying out for this most of the season as, much as I rate Drinkwater, James is more defensively sound. Both centre midfielders have been doing well recently, which isn't something I thought I'd be saying about Leicester as it's generally our weakest position.
Leicester: Schmeichel, De Laet, Konchesky, Morgan, King, Dyer, Keane, James, Schlupp, Knockaert, Wood. Subs: Logan, Drinkwater, Whitbread, Marshall, Moore, Nugent, Kane. Watford: Almunia, Hogg, Deeney, Doyley, Pudil, Vydra, Anya, Abdi, Cassetti, Chalobah, Ekstrand. Subs: Bond, Yeates, Murray, Briggs, Geijo, Battocchio, Forestieri.
I was thinking with 42 minutes gone how we were looking good. Terrible defending for the first goal at the worst possible time, come on guys, really.
