You make valid and interesting points CanadaTiger. But i think that Brady is best on the left wing working with Quinn. Rosenoir is an option i would think about subject to whats needed @ Barnsley.

The main reason why i want the final game to mean nothing is so that Bruce can give starts to the patient squad players and also give Andy Dawson one final start. What a way to end (assuming its the end) his Hull City playing career than that game and what it shall means to us all.

Steve Bruce has only ever played Brady as a left back/left wing back, you seriously think he might switch him to being a striker for the last two games of the season, because he's noticed that some herbert screwed up his player profile on the website?

Our main goal creators this season have been Elmo and Brady, Elmo's out of form, so we're depending on Brady to be the main threat, he's never going to switch him into position he's never played for us before.

I think that Elmohamadys award this week might just give him that extra bit of gas he needs.

I agree with you that Bruce is very unlikely to do it, but you acknowledge that Brady is our main threat to break down defenses so I think its an option that should be considered with Rossie chomping at the bit to play and a perfectly adequate replacement at LWB. I hope Elmo is encouraged by his award and finds renewed energy but Fathi has 90+ international caps in the RB/RWB role, where he was the Egyptian coaches first choice over Elmo. So why not use a player who is fit, who has good speed, and knows the position.

If SAF saw fit to use Brady as a striker on occasion in a very strong ManU reserve team I'm sure he could handle that role in the Championship. My opinion is that he has made enormous progress as a player in the past year.

Love how near enough everyone has crawled up Simpson's arse now.

I've defended the lad from the start with the same reasons as mentioned above, even when he got regular slatings! Then he finds himself with a better midfield around him who can score off his hold up play and it's suddenly recognised by all and sundry. He's been doing this since he came here.

Obviously his finishing needs to improve but I'd start him up front in every away game. You get it to his feet and the midfield can practically waltz up the pitch into space. If you play a holding midfielder for security, a couple of engines that can support Simpson and then a creative midfielder or a finisher that can cap the move with a good effort on goal, you've got a winning formula for away games at this level.

I'm in the same position as you. I've been saying get Simpson in the team ever since he's been here. What he offers is brilliant hold up play, movement AND can pick out a killer through ball (oh as well as scoring a key goal or too)! NEEDS to be playing on saturday

I don't think anyone's crawled up his arse, we're making the best of a bad job.

Fryatt isn't match fit, Gedo is injured and Proschwitz is ****, it's hardly a difficult decision.

He won't be with us next season whatever happens in the last two games.

For once I agree with you OLM - word for word!
Steve Bruce has done remarkably well with what he has had at his disposal especially with Aluko being out for most of the season.
Where we would have been with Aluko available all season and a quality striker makes the mind boggle.
Although I feel sorry for the lad I think the Club will 'cut their losses' and pay Proschwitz out.
