Beckford has scored 16 goals in 73 Championship appearances - that doesn't really make him proven. Most of his success came in League One. Jay Bothroyd has a much better record in the Championship and QPR wouldn't need to pay anything extra for his services...
Hopefully Blackburn will go down and we can get Jordan Rhodes. Charlie Austin at Burnley would be another shrewd move...
Think that's a pretty good summary, think Harry will be trying to get rid of some on stupid wages so can shape his own team but that might mean us still subsidizing some of the salary in order to sweeten the deal. May get rid of Zamora, SWP to a newly promoted club & not sure Faurlin will return. Also think one of Samba or Onouha will go (prefer Onouha to be the one but Samba likely to be more attractive to clubs). Then there's the Taarabt question & will he finally go - pretty sure he won't be happy in the Championship.
We've also got under contract: Ferdinand Cisse Barton Ephraim Again maybe difficult to get off the books if on silly wages so again may have to go out on loan - wouldn't mind a focused Cisse back as likely to score loads in the Championship if not suspended.
Cesar - transfer Diakite - stay Park - retire (hinted at it before) AJ - might well retire too but not until xmas Granero - should go but hope not. Him and Ale had a few games where they controlled the mid. Faurlin - stay definitely. SWP - probably stay if he'll take a wage cut. Jenas - possibly captain. Remy - he'll be gone faster than we could say release clause. Bosingwa - should go abroad. Zamora - stay. Mbia - I think he's only here for another year so debatable either way. Add to that:- Samba - we'll sell to the highest bidder. Mackie will stay if he can be guaranteed first team. Hill and Derry stay in reduced roles. Ferdinand, Cisse - already gone I reckon. Betty - stay. Campbell - stay if we haven't made him hate his boyhood club. Traore - stay. Onuoha - stay. Green - depends on what offers we get. A lot of changes afoot methinks (although I'd love a few seasons of working with what we have).
