    Fail

Although I did make another prediction prior to the last world cup in 2010 that Muller would go on to be one of the top 3 players in the world, he's well on his way as far as I'm concerned.

I detect a lot local bias on here which is understandable given recent events, however I urge you all not to let this cloud your judgement.

Surely by some distance Sunderland must take top spot, if you think I've lost the plot then spend some time in the city of culture and get it from the horses mouth( by that I mean the ones without a fat lip ).........a wise old sage once told me " listen to the words of a tramp because he'll always tell the truth "

Man U should have dumped out Real Madrid - - it was very unlucky that they didn't. Real have turned over Barca a couple of times this season.

A Man U Bayern final would have been interesting - - would have had my money of Bayern, but it would have been interesting

I think the last 3 weeks have proven what Barca are without Messi - decent, that's all.

If they didn't have him in the side then they wouldn't have walked the league and they wouldn't have gone so far in the UCL. They have a few other world class players, but without Messi they are not the same team. Nowhere near it. With him in the team they simply score more goals than anyone else.

It's only because the lad is almost always fit and plays every minute of every game that they can rely on him so much and more often than not, he wins them games.

[agree they were unlucky against Madrid however to be counted as a top four team it's about more than one season, look at man utd in the CL over the last few seasons they have been pony.
This will/should be bayern 2nd final

Haha ok sorry pal, you're right I did overstep the mark.

We are our own worst enemy, nobody has thoroughly beaten us in Europe when we've turned up apart from Barcelona in the last few years, we were ripping Bayern a new hoop before Ribery got Rafa sent off (not bitter at all). I think it's unfair to say it's a weak league when we all know it's the most competitive in the world as well!

To be fair, the fact that no EPL teams made it to the quarter finals this year would tend ot indicate that it is not a particularly strong league this year

Most competitive? What does that even mean? Your Sunday pub league could be the most tightly fought league about, it's still not a reflection of the quality inherent in the league.

But even still, the SPL has been derided as mickey mouse league this year as Celtic romped home to win it with a current 15 point gap, yet Man U have just won it and hold a 16 point gap over second, yet is called the most competitive. Where is the logic

Let's be fair here. Bayern decided to up the physical stakes and the ref was more than willing to oblige with Barca not even getting the incidents you would have called 60:40 in their favour (see the third goal). Combine that with the whole waterlog the pitch to destroy their style of play skullduggery

Utter rubbish you obviously watched a different game - did you miss the 2 handballs. Bayern is certainly the best Team in Europe right now.

It's a great night for Dortmund, but they're not in the top 4 teams in the world.

I think they are much better than Man United who you have included, I actually wrote that comment at 1-1 so it's not just based on them battering Madrid. They are class team that play attractive football they are also a young team so they are going to play together for around the next 10 years. I would be pushed to name teams around that are better than them atm.

I also saw Bayern score an offside goal. The counter attacking game sure comes easy when you aren't even required to stay onside

If offsides were allowed we'd be in the top half of the league.

And Cisse's goal tally would be matching Messi :D
