Op in the summer but it sounds like he could miss the start of next season. So no Gerrard or Suarez for 13/14 kick off.

    Another shoulder injury...

What is Mr. Rodgers getting them to do in training? Hope it doesn't involve sitting in a circle with the right hand...

... no that would be elbow injury.

Well... this season is pretty toast now. Hopefully the "lesser players" that might get more starting opportunity now will take advantage and try to show Brendan why they need to start next year. Not just give up and say "season over".

    Hope Stevie doesn't miss testamonial.

  9. Side for the last four games then:

    Reina
    Wisdom - Carragher - Agger - Johnson
    Henderson - Lucas
    Downing - Coutinho - Enrique
    Sturridge

    ...

PS...what do people reckon will happen with Suarez for rest of the season, will well make him train regardless or will we just send him off on an extended summer break...?

Sewerez has probably played his last game for Liverpool regardless, just because Ayre says they do not want to sell him is probably a smokescreen, if something is for sale you wouldn`t come out and say you no longer want it as the price will drop.

Gerrard will not be so much of a miss, I actually think that you play better when he doesnt play.

  11. Interesting statement. Enlighten me, how do you know we player better without Gerrard when he has played every minute of Premier League football this season? No point in looking at previous season since we play a different system and style (albeit, only slightly different style) under BR, plus we were **** in the cups when Stevie didn't play (some when he did too)

PS...fair enough on your Suarez comments, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Feel free to bookmark it and throw it in our faces come next season if he leaves <ok>

Gerrard has been one of the best midfielders in the league this season, how can you say we play better without him? Even more so when Lucas came back and he could move forward to join attacks when he wanted <doh>

My concern isn't for this season, it's a write off already, but for the start of next season; No Gerrard, no Carragher and no Suarez. Where the **** are the leaders and where's the passion going to come from?

Why on earth isn't he getting the operation now then? season is pretty much over. Surely we should give up 1 month this season for 1 month next season

Its unlikely that he'll miss his own testimonial, so I'm going to say that he will be fit for the start of the season. Just a guess.

Gerrard will still be available up until the end of the season? Not ideal if he's playing with an injury but he's still available nonetheless.

I think you all know my thoughts on Gerrard but I agree that he's been one of our biggest contributors this season however it's not very difficult considering the standard of the squad.

As mentioned previously, no Suarez, Carragher and Gerrard - the owners need to invest this summer. And I'm not talking about spending £30m on a single player etc. I'm talking about buying good, experienced players - we need about 4-5 new players and that's before we even offload anyone.
