Bayern are a great team, no question. They combine the ease of possession and skill of Barcelona with the counter-attacking potency, pace and power of Madrid. This season they have been the best team in Europe. However, 3-0 is a bit harsh. The second goal was offside and the third was a blatant foul. Sort of takes the fun out of the second leg. And I agree, MR. Barca were at their best two seasons ago when Messi played in 'the hole'. They were also more exciting when he was on the RW in the early days. The experiment playing him as a 'false nine' doesn't seem to be as effective - he scores a lot of goals, but they don't seem to have the same invincibility.
Wow, nobody saw this coming, Barca are shot to pieces. Alaba, by the way, probs the Bayern player I know least about, looks a ****ing beast.
Still can't believe Barca haven't created better chances. Ribbery has been doing one hell of a job protecting his team. Even cry baby Robben has grafted back. Can't believe if Villa is fit he hasn't been on from the start.
Dunno mate I just went to the official site and it said he was 9-8 up but that was from the early session finish.
The Bayern munich team of 1975 would beat this Barca team( in fact Sunderland could have beaten them!.!) they had Beckenbeaur, Gerd muller, sepp meier, Brietner, Roth that was probably the best team ever, or real Madrid in the 1960's.
It's worth remembering mate that the result of any one game is actually a 3 horse race. Many people neglect the draw the bookies know this therefore the draw is the bet they actually will usually put in the forecast at slight value eg home win 5/4 away win 7/4 and draw 9/4 if its a close game. The mathematical probalities are actually 2-1 eg 1 in 3. If it was in fact a 2 horse race there are only 2 possible outcomes so therefore probailities would be two sets of evens. A two horse race only really occurs in sports like tennis, snooker, knockout darts, outright win betting or indeed an actual two runner horse race. A bit pedantic I know but maybe worth bearing in mind before placing your next bet.
Thanks for that, 40 years of betting and how could I miss there's also a draw. WTG! Poontang by the way, I noticed Maguires pet lip was out when you were enjoying yourself at 8-8. When he spilt water by his seat as the match neared its dramatic conclusion, it was too much for world number five Maguire. When asked for his take on that incident, Maguire said: "Who knows? I was afraid to look at him in the end."Crazy things were happening out there. I just had to switch off.""I don't think he's the full shilling. I've never seen him before but there's definitely something missing." Grow some balls man, the reason snooker is dying is that there are too many robots and not enough characters.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/snooker/22280696
