^^ This is why its good for us if they go down, they are 2 or three players short of being a very good side imo. If they'd had Petrov, Dunno and Collins this season i reckon they'd be mid table
A tough game, their fans are expecting a win and if we can score first we will quiet the crowd otherwise they will get roared on and probably influence the ref as well.
They are very, very shaky at the back...albeit very quick/good getting forward. I'd love to see us attack the ****ers from the off and bang goals in left right and centre and leave the wondering 'what the **** just happened'. Then belt out a few rounds of 'are you watching Darren Bent'.
We must go there and try to win. They will be nervous as kittens and look very fragile at the back. We mustn'tgive them any confidence boosters by going for a draw and inviting them to attack. I'd be happy with a point but only if we have given our best to get all 3. A win will make us 99% safe so we have all the incentive to do so imo.
Jones proper toilet duck'ed Villa's entire forward line, 99.9% of what they threw at us was cleaned up, they were toothless and looked defeated before the game started. 3 points is a minimum requirement for you lot, get safe and leave them sweating.

2 to 3 weeks ago the majority of us would have said we would happily take a draw in this game - the same way we would have taken a draw against the Mags and the Toffees but look what happened there. Villa have problems scoring and we have better shape, more determination and are creating more chances. With Villa under far more pressure than us if we get the 1st goal we would be certainties. Who needs Mourinho we've got DiCanio...

Of course I want a win but would take the draw then its just a dog fight between villa Wigan and we can sit back. We've won two on the trot, keep your feet on the ground, we ain't just become world beaters, one more result needed, this draw will do me fine, pdc to take effect properly next year.

They've just lost 3 0, we have won the last 2 on merit without conceding Di Canio has another 7/8 days to work with this team and he'll want another win more than anyone The dressing room atmosphere must be fantastic and I bet they're all having a great Sunday. And I'm also willing to bet they're looking forward to Monday morning, I think they'll work hard too Given what I've seen in the last 2 games, I think we have enough to beat Villa
