    It's scary to think that Robben is probably Bayern's main weakness at this point. Gotze is the ideal signing for them, but I'm quite surprised how willing he (supposedly) is to jump ship.

    I'm watching the Bundesliga highlights at the moment and it's currently Hanover 0-5 Bayern Munich and Bayern have played a reserve team! Oh 5-1 now.

    The third league away goal Bayern have conceded this season, they have two games to go (Dortmund and Moenchengladbach).

    37m euros is a bargain for a player of his quality. Surprised that no Prem clubs have jumped on it.

    Or maybe they have and not been able to go anywhere with it...

    Interesting report about Adam Le Fondre. He's another Billy Sharp, albeit probably of slightly better quality: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22247839

    A superb finisher, but little else. He should exploit his club's own play data on himself to provide the answers he requires.

    Just spent the past 6 or 7 hours solid on a report due in for Friday, only got two pages done. Words cannot describe how ill I feel right now. Not because I won't get it done, I should get it done fine, but lack of sleep is killing me. And I have a 9am tomorrow....yikes :p

    Lack of sleep is the most important factor in producing a good report. Free your mind by being largely out of your mind!

    The Godolphin trainer has been charged with treating 11 horses with steroids. Says he didn't know it was illegal....I don't follow racing, but even I know that isn't allowed. If he could see no problem with it...is he trying to tell us that all 11 horses were injured and needed treatment.

    ...I know this should be in the off topic thread, but given the total lack of any sort of publicity in any of the media I thought it warrants a thread of it's own. Obviously I will be offending someone with daring to even hint at celebrating anything to do with England - but happy St Georges Day one and all

    <cheers>

    They mentioned it on Sky Sports. Suspect we will celebrate more when we achieve English independence.

    Happy St George's Day.

    I don't think it's offensive, it's just not particularly noteworthy.
