Good to know Adam has done okay, I never thought for one minute hew would let you down as he is a really good and honest pro The free signing of Lee Camp took us all by surprise as Mark Bunn had stepped up to the plate in John Ruddy's absence and still had other decent reserve keepers, although it would seem CH (or goal keeping coach) did not think them to be good enough. As it turned out, thanks to that game at Sunderland, where Bunn was sent off, Lee Camp has played for about 280 minutes and unlikely to appear again unless another sending off for Bunn comes along. John Ruddy is nearly fully fit again so Camp's day are going to be numbered and I think his contract only took him until the summer anyway. How good is he? Not sure, like many others he can pull off blinding saves but follow them up with a silly error and costly goal.
Thai from what I have seen of Camp very much a Kenny/Schmeichel type of keeper Makes simple saves look brilliant and pretty poor at simple ones, stays rooted to the line and when he does come for crosses flaps like a pigeon
Dawson to boss centre mid next season with Austin next to him... Need 2 or 3 wingers for sure! Jermaine Beckford! Bring him back to fire us into the prem!!!
I'm not sure Dawson will be up for that big a role and I'd much prefer not to rely on him. And I think this is the first season since he left I probably wouldn't have Jermaine Beckford back now. I no longer think he is capable of pushing a team to the premier league
Lee Camp was at a very poor Forest side for the last 1000 seasons. Tells us all we need to know about him.
I think it's a bit too soon to be thinking of Promotion next Season. I think you want to be aiming at the Top 10 at least. I reckon you'd flirt with the play-offs for a while and maybe sneak in but it depends entirely on how your owners invest in transfers. You should learn to aim low and then you don't get let down all the time! As a Hull City fan, I aimed for Top 10 and look at us... The verge of automatic Promotion.
That is the difference between the likes of Hull and Leeds United. Fans won't accept anything less than promotion back to the PL
And another difference, when we do get back eventually, we'll stay there unlike Hull, visiting it for another season
Aah right. Try to be civilised and you get a muppet response. Since 2008, Hull City have been the best Yorkshire side, and we're more likely to get up there and stay unlike you who have just had another Season of mid-table mediocrity and almost relegation. We have wealthy owners, a Premier League manager, brilliant young talent (Chester, Aluko, Brady etc) and look to have a great future. Let's not forget, we're going to get £100million for this Promotion. £100 million more than Leeds What makes you so sure that if Leeds ever actually did get back into the Premier League, that you'd stay up? You're last 10 years doesn't exactly support that claim.
I actually don't know, I've seen so many figures fly around about who gets what with Promotion. I think I was just exaggerating a tad
Your in Yorkshire now? I Cant keep up! Your geographical location tends to change depending on which Hull City fan you talk too. Can you clear it up for me once and for all, are you Humberside or East Yorkshire?
Your probably not far off It was 90mill a few seasons ago when Swansea went up so it wouldnt surprise me
Humberside hasn't existed for few years now. Scunthorpe and Grimsby are now Northern Lincolnshire and Hull is East Yorkshire. Some City fans seem to ignore the "Welcome to East Yorkshire" sign which is just before you enter Hull on the M62... Humberside is now just a general term such as Teeside. BBC Reporters tend to do call us Humberside a lot because it's 'easier'.
You weren't trying to be civilised, you were trying to be condescending and "bring us down a peg". Patronising ****, piss off.
As for Leeds next season, Byram will probably be sold to Norwich and you'll sign a few league 1 players and probably just about reach your goal of avoiding relegation
