I'll take almost any striker at this point, providing they don't play in France, unless we're signing Zlatan.

Well I didn't say this season did I? I'm referring to his MOTM performance against Inter in pre-season. It's a secondary point though; I didn't need to mention Inter at all. I also never said Tiote was any good this season..

I have Busquets playing as a straight midfielder. Bayern are playing a 2 Dm setup like us, with Schweinsteiger, Martinez and on occasion Gustavo playing there. Javi Martinez is a tall guy, but he is still part of a dual defensive midfield and he isnt exactly chunky.

And same with Real Madrid with Khedira playing alongside Xabi Alonso.

These guys are not playing as a lone DM freeing up anyone. They are more like box to box midfielders than the old enforcer DMs you seem to talk about. They are just like Arteta and Ramsey.

Wenger missed a trick at his Press Conference today. Where was his "Song has Arsenal DNA" line?

Can't see it, he's probably on quite a lot of money and he wouldn't get in our first team. We need a playmaker in the middle and whilst he's good for the odd Hollywood pass, his concentration and decision making are questionable so I can't see him becoming like Modric, keeping the play ticking over with constant quick passes.

Now that Gotze has likely signed for Bayern, Gomez is going to be on the way out and Lewandowski will probably not be moving to Bayern. Wouldn't mind either of them

No thanks on Gomez. Would take Lewandowski in a heartbeat.

Not sure how Pep is going to fit Shaqiri, Gustavo, Robben, Ribery, Kroos, Muller, Schweinsteiger, Martinez and Gotze in the same team. Apparently they're interested in Rode too. There must be a few players out of that group we should try to sign.

Draxler would be a great signing.

I hate to say it but the guy is RVP-esque. Mainly plays as a second striker or AM but he's tall, elegant and skilful.

Only 20 though but potential World Class ability.

Yeah, wasting 15m on a kid will solve all our problems.

I can see Dortmund signing draxler to replace gotze in the same way reus replaced kagawa.

I would MUCH rather we spent £15 Million on players with World Class ability like Draxler (regardless of age) than adding more mediocre established French legaue players like Giroud, Chamakh and Gervinho.

Besides he's already good enough to walk straight into our starting 11.

No he's not. He has potential but he's not that good.
