    ....we'll be on Sky again.

And if we fail to go up automatically then we'll be on again for the home play-off game.

That'll be 3 home games in about 3 weeks !

It's strange how the mind-set of most fans is that if we don't finish second then that's it game over for this season, as if nobody gives us a chance going up via the play-offs.

    Nothing's certain.

Depends what state the players are in, or whether Bruce can get them to snap out of it in time for the playoffs. That's obviously if all goes wrong.

We were in a similar position when we went up last time under Browny- after winning at Barnsley we slumped to 2 defeats at Sheff Utd and Ipswich (with the win against Palace inbetween). So from was a bit hit and miss.

I remember there was a lot of moaning after the Sheff Utd match (typically by the boring twats on radio Humberside), but we were all quite looking forward to the playoffs after Ipswich. I don't think people want to go through 90 minutes at Wembley again. So I think most will be subdued.

The players looked drained on Friday night- Meyler and Stockdale both had their heads in their hands. Hope it's not a sign of things to come.

Hopefully it won't go to the last day cos I think Watford will best Leeds at home, and we struggled under pressure against a relegated team. How would we do against a team already promoted full of confidence

    I think so as well.

A days extra rest will do the players a power of good.

Also, don't forget that Barnsley are under huge pressure to perform. It's not just us.

I think both us and Watford will draw our next games so we'll be up by 5pm Saturday.

If it does go down to the last game and that fooker Campbell plays a blinder....

This is when the manager rather than the players really earns his money. We'll see this week who is best - Zola or Bruce - and to an extent Pearson.

In 2008 we only had a sniff at 2nd place and were just pleased to reach the play offs as were the team. This year if we fail to make automatic it will be a huge come down and I am not saying we shouldn't be pleased about a play off positon but honestly this is the best position we have ever been in and for it to all come down to having to play more games and trying to lift the players for that then I think that is the end of our Premiership dream for this year. The suspense is killing me, just want Leicester to go for it on Friday. It will be a hell of a game.

We are not scoring enough to get through the playoffs, also the disappointment of failing to get automatic when so much time spent as 2nd will be unbearable.

Either way it doesn't matter as fully expect Leicester and us to win this weekend.
Don't forget that if Leicester don't win then that's their playoff hopes just about gone, so expect to be celebrating our promotion on Friday evening.

That really would be the ideal scenario. As much as I obvs want City to win I worry slightly about the prospect of serious disorder should we win and essentially relegate them. A Lester win and a Barnsley win would make Oakwell a much happier place to celebrate....

    What?

Even if Leicester did win against Watford i'd still want City to be professional and go out and win against Barnsley. I can't believe you'd want City to lose because you think a few ******ed Danny Dyer wannabees would get the hump and kick off.

This is football not a bleedin' tea party where everyone has to be civilised to one another.

There's a few daft lads on the 9.30 train to Barnsley, I hope they don't go anywhere near any working men's clubs.

The little devil on my right shoulder wants me to lose to just watch this board blow itself up <laugh>

But obviously I want the blues to win and I think we will. Funny how things turn out.

Unfortunately it seems to be going that way with the talk of a fancy dress party.
This is a serious game of football and we need to be going for the jugular (Suarez pun not intended. )

It doesnt bother me personally - I can handle myself and self confessed love the intimidating atmosphere - but after all the furore with Udders WYP press office would have a field day and we'd be completely derided across the land. We'd know doubt also see restrictions on any potential flare-up games next season.
