The Allams' wealth has dropped by about £100m in a year. City must surely need promotion - and its attendant £millions - or things may get rather tight. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-18762390-detail/story.html?#axzz2R1Ix6GoK What do you reckon?
Always wary about what papers print about wealth. We are under the impression (probably rightly so) that the club will be run financially soundly if we go up - no stupid transfer fees or wage packages for players who don't justify it (like what got us in the financial mess last time). The issue is if we don't gain promotion was the financial plan of the club built on promotion this season and if not what sources are there for possible transfers, or would we be looking at a season of just loan signings

If its like my house Craig, i reckon Mrs Allam saw it last year and said I didnt know you had all that money have you seen my wardrobe, I havent bought a dress for 6 months and as for my shoes, my mother was right about you. etc etc. Always make out your skint else the mrs will make sure you are!! Rheinhold FACT
Good advice Stan...Ms.LincolnTiger caught me peeking at the new Miff Spring Collection this morning and said 'you're not so feckin right on politically correct now are you?' As she's a nurse who is good with scissors and a needle I think I'll heed your advice too Stan....
Didn't John Lennon once make that remark or something like it OLM? Down to his last £50m or something at the time... Regardless of what the Allam's have or earn, they are certainly entitled to recoup their investment. I hope they do. We'll remain forever in their debt for saving the club.
I am guessing that the investment in the club has caused a large percentage of this drop in wealth. The £50 million or so they have put in can't look favourable on a bank balance
Hardly a surprise is it when over £60m has been spent on Hull City. Dont panic all is well. Wish i was £100m behind them though.
Ive said it (on here) before and I'll say it again. Id be happy if we spent the bulk of the Premier League riches (assuming we get there) on settling our loan from the Allams. Take the hit and go down if needed, owing £60m to any individual(s) isnt good.
You can look at this any way you like however I think the fact is Pappa Allam will look to take back some of his investment should we go up, £60m is a lot to bank roll and to have the ability to get some of it back this summer is something they may and in my mind should look to do.
They won't take all their investment out, they'll want us to be competitive, so I'd expect them to repay themselves over at least two or three seasons.
Quite rightly so. The Allams have the parachite payments as the safety net but for sure will want to help establish us in the PL. Staying in the PL for the next 4 seasons is a guaranteed £80m per season with the new tv deal kicking in.
