We're ****ed. Swansea at home should be a win (not very confident) but United seems like a no hoper, and I can see Tottenham getting the win against us as well. The board has dug us a big ****ing hole.

I guess you didn't bother following the link. Defoe got a yellow for biting Mascherano.

I thought the ref was going to blow for full time when your player took the throw in - the ball was being passed round the Liverpool defence as the clock ticked over to 96.

Defoe felt his actions had been "blown out of all proportion".

"The referee was standing over me and if he felt I had done something bad he would have sent me off," said the 24-year-old.

"It doesn't look great on TV and I accept that I have a responsibility to conduct myself in the right way.

"When the West Ham player fouled me, I reacted in a bit of a mischievous way - my character is a little like that at times."

Spurs boss Martin Jol described Defoe's bite as a "comical nibble".

"He was nibbling his arm - there will be no mark. Ask Mascherano if he has got a mark," said Jol.

"It is part of the game. They kicked him three times from behind in 10 minutes and he wanted to show his frustration in a nice, comical way."

I'm not defending Suarez but want some persepctive. If we get rid of him for biting then we will be the first Premier League club to have ever done so.

No and i didn't say you did. You're taking it out on the ref, and all i'm saying is that we should be looking at why we were so **** instead. I.e read what I wrote, not what you think I wrote. Idiot.

It's unreal how a referee can literally decide the outcome of a football match. I have never been more for the introduction of technology at its fullest extent than I have been today.

If the referee done his job right he would have awarded a free-kick to us and sent off Jamie Carragher with a second yellow card. One of three Liverpool players who should have walked today.

Nobody said we didn't play ****, but it's not the reason we didn't gain 3 points.

Even if you were it would be nothing compared to the robbery that Man Utd committed at Stamford Bridge so some perspective please ;)

It is time that they had to come out face the cameras and explain their decisions. If they are confident they made the right decision then they should have zero problem explaining it to the rest of us.

The technology does not need to be "introduced", the cameras are already there. Referees just need to make use of it <ok>
