The Chairboys make their last trip to Underhill to take on the perennial relegation fighting Bees and having lost their last 2 games are deep in the brown stuff although not quite as deep as the Shots who need to win their last 2 games to have any chance of staying up it looks like 2 out of 5 for the drop with the Shots likely to be one of the two lets hope is the Minstermen that make up the other place and not one of the three other southern teams. Gaz will be looking to make Edgar Davids job very difficult with a 4th win in the last 6 and with Matt McClure injured will revert back to the successful 4-5-1 formation with Deano up front and Joel linking. In what will be a very hard fort game I wouldnât be surprised with a draw http://www.wycombe.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=316668
im going for a draw here but as ever it depends on our frontline - if deano and joel fire, we will win. whilst i hope we win, i dont want to see barnet relegated as it would lose one of our local away trips plus we wouldnt get a chance to see the new ground looking forward to the game though - effectivly sold out so hopefully a good atmosphere!
It would be sad if Aldershot and Wimbledon go down, having fought so long and hard from virtual oblivion to get back into the league.
I have got tickets for the game tomorrow last time I went to Underhill I think we lost 6-3 drawing 3-3 at half time Barnet kicked downhill second half & scored 3. I think we might just nick it 1-0 we do have a fair away record. We could do with keeping Aldershot & Barnet in div 2, with 3 northern teams coming down
Well lost 1-0 and Joel missed a pen at the death but to be honest keeps it interesting at the btm with the Daggers at home against the Minstermen on the last day
Awful again today Grant missing the penalty just about sumed it up. Kuffor again got muscled out of it again he was shoulder height to the two centre halfs. Harriman was run ragged second half from overlaps & where was the covering midfielder to help him out. The one good thing about today we have found a goalkeeper. How do you work out man of the match awards their goalkeeper won it for one save in the last minute, apart from that he had a very easy afternoon
ingram was stunning today, kuffour poor as ever. we had a goal ruled out, but im not sure about the reason......... andrade fouled for the penalty, joel had a chance to steal an undeserved point but a terrible penalty...
Where I was stood we all had the same thought put the match back 15mins you know what all the other teams are doing.
That was an awful performance. Apart from Ingram no one showed up. I was pleased for Barnet in a way but very annoyed with the lack of effort by our boys. Kouffor in particular was awful but why play him up front on his own? He has no idea how to play that role! Really do hope Barnet stay up now.
