As a bit of an aside to the final nail in our premiership coffin, tonight happens to be the most spectacular night of boxing so far in 2013! To kick off proceedings is "Rule Brittania" at Wembley, featuring Nathan Cleverly, Dereck Chisora, and 10-ish other British fighters. It can be viewed here right now: http://boxingguru.eu/gurutv1.html (be sure to have your eyes peeled for our very own Cerny..!) The second act in this feast of pugilism is Tyson Fury V Steve Cunningham- a real step up for Tyson, and viewable on Channel 5! His cousin Hughie Fury is on the undercard, and you'll be able to watch them both from 9.30-11 pm. The final, and highest profile/juciest of tonight's encounters, is without doubt Canelo Alvarez V Austin Trout at 4am-ish this morning. Both undefeated Junior Middleweight champions, the winner is likely to be in line for a crack at Floyd Mayweather. It's very very rare nowadays that the #1 + #2 fighters in a weight division end up facing eachother. Canelo is Golden Boy's cash cow, so it's unlikely that they'd have allowed him to risk his "O" without a lot of pressure from the fighter himself. It's thanks to trouts defeat of Canelo's brother in 2011 that this fight was made. I'll post links up for the other insomniacs later
Christ that was a bit close for comfort... cleverley is in the ring with krasniqi atm http://boxingguru.eu/gurutv1.html
