We're still pretty relaxed, because we still don't think you will give us the opportunity to snatch second. That would admittedly change completely if it went to the last day.
We won't, but if Watford are within 3 points of us on the eve of the final day we will have to go for the win against Cardiff. Anything less would be a huge mistake.
Hello Watford Fan I have a question. I have been reading http://www.wfcforums.com/ a fair bit lately, why are all of your fans so bitter towards Hull? Constantly saying how crap we are etc? Yes I know we haven't been very good lately and on tele we haven't done anything special but we were playing some wonderful football early on in the season and they all seem to just want to tell themselves that we are rubbish and that they really don't like us. Just find it a bit odd. Table doesn't really lie that's all.
wfcforums posters like to go from one extreme to another (the other day, given that we had only won one in seven, someone said we were "worse than the team Aidy Boothroyd had in 2008"). They also have relatively short memories, because for a big part of the last decade we played some dire stuff. The view of people I speak to at matches is that Hull have earned the right to go up, and gave us a bloody good game right in the middle of one of our best runs this season. The vast majority of neutrals I speak to would rather watch us than you, but I was never bothered about those sorts of opinions when we had Boothroyd, and don't think you should care about them now.
I wouldn't waste your time reading that forum, it could interfere with your sanity. Stick with this site as the over 16s use it.
Did you go to the game? How was the atmosphere at the end of the game considering you could be 1 point behind before we play, i think our players are really feeling the pressure, just got to win one match with two games left but i think its going to the last game of the season...
Lesta are in alright form, unlucky against Birmingham and a draw at Palace, and after their recent dive down the table they actually might be the team to win their last 2 and cement their place in the playoffs...I'd happily sit in E1 in a full Leicester kit chanting 'I love Nigel Pearson' if it means they win on Friday night!
It's hard to draw a link between the atmosphere and any feelings about the promotion race, what with the best weather we've had since the Olympics, and four second half goals. You still won't find many people who think you are going to drop enough points for us to have any chance of second, but after that display more than a few believe that we can at least force you to get that win.
It was important the Lesta got the draw today, it seems their form might just be improving at the right time for themselves and for us. They will be looking to get the win against Watford to keep up their play off chances, and with Bolton away at Cardiff, that one will be a hard one to call with Cardiff already Champions.
I feel a bit better after reading Leicester's stats from today. They had 26 shots to Palace's 13 and the big bonus is Wood broke his goal drought - hope it opens the floodgates against Watford.
Leicester fans were probably desperate for him to have a reasonably good game today. Forestieri ripped them to pieces last time we played.
this battle's been going on a while. Hull are much better placed. However, we've both tried to throw it away at various points in the season.. I hope we win on Friday to see how you can 'cope' with a bit more pressure. Nevertheless, that is no easy task given that Leicester are fighting for the playoffs too. Who ever goes up in 2nd deserves it. No tengo idea que vaya a pasar...
