He is just pure unadulterated box office.

You simply can't take your eyes off him.

The back slapping, head slapping; gesturing and arm waving, arms around players clapping and shouting. Forget the derby win for a moment and this other boil lancing exercise and bogey club put to the sword and concentrate purely on the feel of the club today. Atmosphere was electric and the noise many decibels above recent games. The faces of fans even before kick off in anticipation of just seeing PDC emerge before 3pm.

That stuff at the end was fantastic too. He is a massive breath of fresh air and life is never going to be the same again.

This is football theatre and we are the hottest ticket in town.

Oh and the players were immense too. Organised, passionate and an abundance of effort and ability. The self belief is evident by the way they worked for reach other and none more so than Colback. Asked to help out by playing an unfamiliar role today I thought he was excellent; Alfie was masterful at snuffing out Fellaini whilst smoking a pipe and reading the newspaper and the 2 lads at the back were again dominant. Danny Rose is simply a must buy Paolo this summer and Larsson put a great shift in. The 2 wide men were less effective but AJ worked hard and McClean even more so.

Its a transformation of epic proportions and back to back wins which means we go to Villa and can enjoy the game.

We are virtually safe after todays result as we are 6 points and a massive goal difference from the trap door and I still think we will get something from the Villa, Stoke and Southampton games.

PS - and we are back as top NE dogs on the pitch and in the tables too.

What we have experienced in the last 2 games is what being a football supporter is all about. Today was a fantastic day to complete a perfect week.

Our future is looking very positive and I'm realy looking forward to see who Paulo brings in during the summer. The scum on the otherhand have a bunch of Frenchies that are a cooking pot ready to boil over at any time and along with that, they have Pardy for atleast another 7 years. A recipe for relegation.

Looking at the stats tells it all, we had 50/50 possession against Everton. For too many matches under MON we could only play without the ball. often 30/70 etc against lesser clubs than Everton. Paolo is indeed a breath of fresh air and seem ready to embrace the club and the passion something I've never really seen a manager do! Early days but Mr Di Canio thus far Grazie Mille!

BBC Radio tried to put a damper on it saying that he was taking the credit away from the players...They obviously didn't watch the reaction at the end of the game..

The same was said by Matt Holland on Football Focus said in time players will come to regret that style of management, what is it with the BBC, they just simply cannot give PDC any credit at all, no doubt there will be more sh1te comments on MOTD tonight but who cares, six points out of two games many of us thought we wouldn't get any, keep doing your thing PDC and stuff the pundits.

i was watching a foxsports stream, and the end of match commentary was appaling. 1 out 3 said di canio has turned us around, then one of the daft gits then went on about PDC needing to show more respect to Moyes, cos he didnt shake his had straight away and that he should let his players celebrate more between themselves. wtf?
