Game over. A point I'd take within the match, but we're outside the playoffs now.

 

...like I said mid-table obscurity.

 

Hmm, I think we would have taken a point before the game, so probably a good result.

Other results didn't really go our way today though. (Apart from little florist )

 

A win against Watford on Friday

Depending on how bothered they are Cardiff then play Bolton at home. If Cardiff win that a point at Forest on the final day will get us play offs aslong as Bolton dont beat Blackpool by about 15-0

A win and a draw along with a Cardiff win next week sees us finish 6th

 

Time to get the notebook and calculator out, and spend my days at work analysing every eventuality and what we could get away with that would see us finish in the playoffs

 

Watford will beat us comfortably..

 

Probably, seems they are out the other side of their bad patch.

A defeat against Watford and it's all over...

 

This has been the problem all season (apart from when Wood was firing) - lack of finishing.

Haha that's the spirit (as usual) John. A very decent point today. A draw against Watford worst case will see us back to 6th on goal difference. Cardiff hopefully will still be focused to do a job on Bolton but we are going to need something at Forest unfortunately. At least we didn't lose but 18 shots on target!!!!! Jeez

What a game that should be on Friday night. Massively important for both teams for different reasons. If we can beat Watford (big ask I know) it would put lots of pressure on Bolton and Forest to get wins on the Saturday. Palace are still not there yet either. They play away at Blackburn on tues I believe another massive game for both sides. It's all very exciting but not sure how much more my nerves can take. 2 in 2 for Wood hopefully he can keep it going... We need him to. Lets pack the KP on Friday and cheer them on

 

Yes, the usual realistic opinion..I know its not fashionable, but watford have been a better outfit than us all season, put together in a few short weeks before the season started by zola, a novice manager with a fraction of the resources our club has had.. sorry to be objective I always wonder why its not allowed to speak the truth as I see it without being seen as disloyal or a doom merchant?

 

We should not be in this position in the first place, scratching about for a playoff place,not with the set up this club has got..

 

Cash wise maybe but it does help when you can just take players from another club. Udiense paid close to 4M for Matej Vydra

God knows how much the rest costs so its not like the Watford team is as cheap as chips
