    A misunderstood character with more modesty than many give him credit for.

    On the Beckham thing, a lot was made of him giving his current salary in Paris to charity (tax avoidance on his wider wealth) while little is made of Bellamy spending time in Sierra Leone giving his time and not just money.

    Not worthy of comparison in my mind.

    I have nothing against Beckham, but disappearing for 5 years to the States pretty much tells you what his objectives in football were.

    As said, Bellers is a true footballer and Beckham is not in his league.

    Bellers every day of the week for me. I think Beckham is very much under the influence of Victoria and her family, namely her sickeningly greedy father.
