If you can prove you didn't know who was driving at the time of the offence, it will get thrown out of court yankee. That's why a lot will go to court and say they didn't know who was driving.
At one time the European Court ruled that a person cannot be forced to testify against himself. I know this to be true because I was once snapped speeding but they couldn't identify the driver. I was advised to ignore all correspondence and contact relating to the matter. I did so and was never charged. However, I believe the law has now been amended and that particular loophole closed.
Yankee What is "failing to identify a driver". Happens if you are caught on camera and when asked if you were driving at that time you reply, either no, or I can't remember, but cant name anyone else who may have been driving. That's why he got so many points as he would have considered to have lied or failed to admit at some point .
aha the dreaded speed camera, oh no it wasnt me driving, i will pay you if you take the rap and the points, hmmmmmmm same story over here
