An "out of form" City that has won 8 out of their last 9 games including wins vs Chelsea twice and United?
Agreed. That is wishful thinking. However, there is every reason to think that by the last game of the season City could be 4 or more points clear of both third and Man Ure, meaning they really have nothing to play for and could try to blood some youth players... Here's hoping!
I actually did think they were a bit dodgy recently but 8 wins from 9 set me straight lol. Hopefully, as Rob says, they put their kids out and have an off day. Having said that wouldn't fancy heading to the Etihad needing a result to stay up.
Wigan's run in looks like this - West Brom v Wigan Sat 4 May 15:00 Wigan v Swansea Tue 7 May 19:45 Man City v Wigan Sat 11 May 17:15 Arsenal v Wigan Tue 14 May 19:45 Wigan v Aston Villa Sun 19 May 16:00 I think the last match could be crucial for deciding who goes and who stays. Mind you, Lawro reckons Stoke could yet be in trouble. An excting few weeks and let's hope we can win on Saturday!!!!
Think you're missing a couple of games jr, as they've six left and you have the fa cup final in there. One is against spurs I think and they have west ham on Saturday
Aslong as were ahead of Villa and Wigan going into the last game by 2 points, i will be happy to take a 10-0 tonking from Citeh...
Actually, we only need to be one point clear of one of them and two points clear of the other. In that situation there would be no way they could both overtake us on that last day.
Thing is, until tonight, it was in Wigan's hands to get above us with their games in hand. Now it's in our hands to stay above them.
Yes I forgot a small matter of the 2 games in April West Ham v Wigan Sat 20 Apr 15:00 Wigan v Spurs Sat 27 Apr 15:00
