Lets be honest theres supposedly a handful of people down the road that have been applauding our achievement. Now im not sure how genuine it all is but im willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the few.
The rest of the ****ers down there are truly gutted! . Ive been grinning from ear to ear today whilst seeing all the coverage and reading all the articles on our wonderful bluebirds! It was about time that wales had Proper representation in the PL. Step right up a club with huge potential, massive catchement area and fanatical vocal support!

WE ARE COMING! UP THE BLUEBIRDS!

I hope you dont mind me slightly changing your name its just im riding high right now and cant help be just a tad excited.
My first game was as a 10 yr old against darlington. Im now 33. Its been a long time coming and at times i thought it would never happen. I applaud all the fans also who have stuck by us through the rough times and i imagine you to be one of them.
Anyway well done lads and well done to malky and his staff. Made a. Ery proud welshman in london and more importantly made me a very proud CARDIFF CITY FC Supporter!

Hey, genuine well done. Obviously, I want us to get six points off you and finish above you next season, but that doesn't necessarily clash with the idea of respect where respect is due. I remember - I think I'm right - one or two Cardiff fans congratulating us when we went up (whilst acknowledging the rivalry in a sensible way) and I wanted to return the favour.

Besides, it's quite an achievement when Malky had to come in and replace Dave Jones's team.

London - said much the same on the "Well Done" thread posted by a Jack. Some very decent - them and a few others are more than welcome on this board in the name of banter and chat, but if you've bothered to read some of the **** posted about us on their joke of a forum this season, I wouldn't give a stuff if we never heard from most of them again.

We're up there now and it's down to us. I'm still finding it hard to believe even after seeing the evidence last night and the table positions today.

Bloody brilliant achievement by all at the club - owners, manager and his team, the playing staff and of course the supporters. <applause><applause>

Dont worry LBB, we are offering our sincere congratulations, still want you to finish below us, I don't know what worse, the fact Cardiff are promoted, or that some Cardiff fans, are going on about the Swans instead of just being happy. :)

    Ecstatic doesnt even come close.

First Cardiff Game against Wrexham in the early ninetees at Ninian Park. Sat through the barron years of attendances well under 2000 in the 3rd division when I was a nipper. Been a regular through the noughties and I never thought Id see the day we got promoted.

To be honest, the Swansea fans who post on this board seem to be, by and large, pretty genuine. As for some of the other cretins, particularly the one who black listed a load of us because we dared to not having been a member of the not606 forum for all of time, my time is better spent not bothering with some of the melons over there.

From my relatively small time on this particular forum, the likes of Chico seem like really decent Swans fans, the sort of fans I tend to meet in the pub to discuss genuine football issues, and as I said in the only post Ive made on the Swansea board, I have been really proud as a welsh football fan with how theyve done in the premier league. They are an example we should seek to follow, and I look forward greatly to the first welsh derby of the season, and the lively healthy debates that will follow.

I ignore the idiots. I dont bother responding to them. Halfwits like that are the reason I tend to stay clear :)

I imagine they were thinking the same when they got promoted. Who really cares?

We are premier league and we have 19 other clubs to play :) United, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs.....holy **** :)

Yes...the derbies will be great, but look at what games we will have!

I don't think a welsh team should be in the premier league. It's the English premier league.

To be honest ive seen some the **** recently and i cant really be arsed or bothered if i heard or seen off any of them again. To the decent ones then i guess thankyou but i dont know i still have a sneaky suspicion about some who claim to be sincere.
We have made it though and thats all that matters. Its going to be sweet to finally be able to watch the playoffs in the knowledge we are up!

London to be honest I can't imagine why anyone would waste the time and effort to congratulate you if they wasn't being sincere. Your not gonna remember every single person that posted either so it's not like we are trying to be something were not... Just accept the best wishes, say thank you then enjoy your own success :)

Oh yeah, as for proper representation, were plying our trade in Europe next season after winning a major trophy... I think we're representing our country just fine! hah

Ash, I know a lot of English fans who aren't bothered one way or the other but fortunately for all of us, there are more than enough who keep on giving us the ammo to fire back at them lol

Why are the jax keeping on about the English / Welsh thing? The vast majority of English fans we encounter seem fair minded and complimentary. We are generally accepted by fans of most clubs. Let's not focus so much on the nation debate.
