Detachment I thought was very good. A lot of people said it was depressing but powerful would be the way I would describe it too. Same director as American History X Tony Kaye.
I had a post deleted by the furher (Gerrez) as it was was deemed to be derailing a thread, I suggested that you would be along to derail the thread soon.
not watching it. i'm sick of post apocalypse america. i hate zombie shows... i'm sick of vampires also. this era of b movie style crap really needs to end.
We could do with a new Sopranos, Wire type. Has anyone seen The Shield? I have that ready to go 8 seasons of it.
Can't say I totally agree with merging the TV/Film and the Computer game threads but the board is about more than individuals such as myself, plus whats done is done (RHC: things can't be unmerge). Not everyone wants to talk about computer games and it can be a pain in the arse have to search through loads of comments. I like Fifa and have probably contributed to that thread as much as anyone but if it was merged with the computer game thread (prior to this merge) I would have been annoyed because I don't play or like many other games. I often had to search through the TV/film thread as it was because you lot like to discuss bollox like Star Wars, Aliens and Star Trek
I need a film to suit everyone this weekend I have the in laws down so need some fits everyones taste kind of thing going to be difficult.
Yeah that was kind of my fault again. I just noticed that the same people were using both threads and both kept dropping off the page so thought it would be a good idea. Bluff must have agreed and here we are. If it's not a popular idea the title could be changed again and a new game thread created? I need to learn to shut up. Some of my thoughts need to stay in my head......like the one about the kangaroo and the......never mind.
Just realised that my comment of not being able to unmerge it isn't entirely true. We have the ability to move a comment from one thread to another as well as separating a comment if we feel it deserves its own thread. It would just take ages since there was hundreds of comments in both threads
I think it's best to keep them separate Maybe we could have a poll, not had a non-matchday one in ages...
