Defeat there and they are right in the mix. If they pick up at least a point I reckon they will be fine but a defeat and they could implode. Its not inconceivable that they don't get another point.

I think they've the worst run in of all the bottom clubs. Not one game is a given 1 pointer never mind 3 points.

It's going to be a nervous run in for the bottom 7 or 8 clubs mate. Us included.

It's all about momentum now. We should have it after Sunday but after watching Everton last night they are a bloody top team.

If the mags lose on Saturday they will start to have self doubt. At this stage of the season t.at could be fatal.

A lot of swings and roundabouts to come..Personally, I couldn't give a ****e about the Skunks, and am more concerned with us getting the points on the board..

So true, its what the PL is all about, i just wish it wasnt us involved in it. Piennar and Fellani back doesnt help, and Fellani always has a good game against us. Still thinking Wigan have too much to do, their goal diff could take a hammering tonight

The game we lost against them with Bruce in charge on the second or 3rd game of the season casued us to half implode and I still, to this day, reckon if we'd beaten them we'd have been in a much better position at the end of the season but the defeat affected the entire club. It's all in the head - this could get to their fans and when the fans turn on you, the team suffers as the negativity breeds itself onto the pitch

If Wigan can do something tonight away to Man City then it's going to be one helluva relegation battle.

West Brom were the ones who come back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 and force the scum to keep their top dog paint in the cupboards for yet another year. I like West Brom me.

Agreed mate, Wigan have a hell of a run in as well and I think their luck has finally run out. We have a winnable games against Stoke and Southampton, possibly even Villa? even a point down there would be a decent result, that should be enough to keep us up. Forget Everton and Spurs, anything against either of those is a massive bonus for us. But, as has been said, we now have a bit of momentum and self belief and PDC won't be wanting anything but a solid performance on Saturday, who knows? maybe the ghost will be laid to rest.

Neither of us are safe mate.

It wouldn't surprise me if we lose vs WBA and end up beating Liverpool or Arsenal.

I think WBA are a better team than them. Tough game for them no doubt.

I am not blowing any trumpets with this.

However, I do think both clubs will survive.

    Just.

I agree that they could spiral if they lose but they are sure to win one game before the end which will be enough to keep them up, not sure if it will be enough to save Pardews job though. Liverpool and Arsenal are there remaining home games and the three away could be tricky.

I think they'll bounce back and beat a West Brom who are already on their summer holidays with Swansea

We should beat Villa, Stoke, Soton, draw with Everton (Moyes has got them well organised this season) Lose at Spurs, Bale should be back by then!. I recon we could finish with 44 points. Newcastle will be alright, like Norwich, WHU. In the championship at the bottom it is the highest amount of points i believe that the 2nd bottom team have got at this stage, that will be a very interesting last day in that league.

44 points would be brilliant, and would leave us well safe..However, it's the old cliche, 'one game at a time' for me..
