But Jol isn't available, can't see him leaving Fulham for us.

I'm not sure how Rafa would enjoy working within our wages and transfer policy!

So... We need someone who knows French... Someone who's used to honing a squad under pressure... Someone who knows how to get the best out of attacking players and implement an attacking side... Someone who's first name is Christian... Someone who has brought through youth players... Someone who is probably on less than Pardew and would come to us...

    Nah...

    Can't think of anyone...

Is this Gourcuff chappie mates with Mike and Del though? Surely that's the most important factor to consider when thinking about a new manager...

Would certainly be an ambitious choice and likely to get us playing the more positive football that we need for this crop of players and that we crave as fans, but is he good enough to do it in the premier league? I'd wager he could do a better job of it than Pardew regardless.

    GET HIM IN!

I would've loved for us to have gone for AVB had he been out of work, what with his link to Sir Bobby and all...

I suppose DiMatteo might be worth a go though <ok>

I think Ashley should draw up a shortlist of 38 managers for next season to have a contingency plan in place to replace the manager should we lose the first game, therefore the losing manager can be replaced immediately and so on. This would certainly keep the managers on their toes and stand no chance of moulding a squad but if they've got anything about them this shouldn't matter. I know this may lead to a lack of stability in the club but who gives a sh*t.

If by some chance one the managers does well and gets us into Europe let's get rid of him anyway.

    This!

I can't really see Pardew being sacked unless we get relegated.

That said, I can't believe Roberto Di Matteo hasn't been snapped up yet!

He's an excellent manager, who is young, ambitious, talented and plays good football. <ok>

    Why not he's a winner.
Apart from The Championship what have we won?

It's a funny one as pardew has shown last season what he can do with a full fit first team. However this season he has looked clueless at times. Lets see what he does until the end of the season now with no mid week game to contend with. We have some cracking players at Newcastle and if he can't get the best out of them then it will be time to get someone else.

Michael Laudrup - Get him in to replace Pardew (if he'd join us). Legendary player, fantastic manager, nice guy and passionate. He would get us playing cracking football.
