New Fathi was a great player, been saying he should start, whilst others saying it's too big a risk. Hopefully he will play in the next 3 games and show Bruce enough that we should sign him permanently regardless of the league we are in!
Fathi was excellent, we're it not for giving away the goal he'd of been man of the match by a country mile. Showed all the qualities me and others (specifically one of the Canadian posters) who had actually bothered to watch him said he had.
He sounded very good. Made a mistake for the goal but we lost due to lack of chances tonight. Hopefully he can be a secret weapon for these last few games.
Can't expect to come up against Doyle and Hunt and not concede. Did expect to score at least once tonight to cancel it out though. Defence didn't let us down. Our attacking threat did considering the posession.
Wasn't lack of chances, it was lack of taking them. Players in shooting positions plenty of times but kept trying to pass it in instead of pulling the trigger, and also the quality of delivery from crosses was very poor.
I watched all his videos in the World Club championship in Japan in December plus some of his international clips and said on here before we got him on loan that I thought he was the best of our three Egyptians. Why it took so long for Steve to give him a chance considering his international reputation was strange. Too bad about his one mistake leading to their goal but he should be a starter from now on and hope we can sign him up for the Prem.
He played really well...I think one of the midfield and defence could have helped him out for the goal with a call when the big wolves midfielder closed him down. That big lad must have committed 7/8 fouls on us all night that stopped us going forward but not one yellow? Still he'll learn his lesson I suppose for the next 3 games.
He was our standout player yesterday by some way. He got caught in possession for the goal, but Stockdale should perhaps have done better. He looks the part and is ample replacement for Evans in the ball winning midfield role. Expect him to start at the KC on Friday
