NUFC income for TV and prize money was £47.28m, Sunderland's was £46.37m, and they finished a good £2m above us!

Surprised considering TV is the only way Sunderland fans watch their team

Have you any idea how much it costs to heat a fleet of buses at the end of October for thousands of away fans who opted to use this as their form of seating for the last 45 minutes of a match instead of the seats in the stadium?

I'm telling you. That **** costs!

A huge swathe of that money is tied up in shares, assets and investments so the cash isn't actually freely available.

If he was to sell everything then that is the sum he'd be worth in disposable income before tax.

It's a shame about the "Player ownership" rules in the Premier League are pretty strict now, otherwise one of Ashley's other companies could buy some players and lease them to the club.

On second thoughts, the thought of having a team full of rent boys would be too similar to watching Sunderland play.
