looking at them no one has a (so called) easy run in. Points in the bag better than a bird in the bush (something like that) Wigan to go.

The SOL will be bouncing come Saturday, and I fancy we may just put another hoodoo to bed.

Stoke, Saints & Villa are great chances for points now with the new verve, I just can't see us dropping niw.

A complete turnaround from 2 weeks back when I was planning Burnley away with my pal down there!

It would be a brave man to put a big bet on this, what do the bookmakers quote after yesterday

I reckon we might even get a full house. I wish I could make it to give him a proper welcome.

    Can't wait pal.

The players will feel 10 feet tall after the reception, I fancy the SOL to be bouncing for the first time in an age.

Imagine being presented to the already adoring fans after tanking the horse bashers. He's gonna fall in love a-la-Quinn.

Bookies have Wigan now along with Reading and QPR.

    Villa @ 3-1
    Stoke @ 4-1

    Then us @ 5-1

Last week we were 3rd fav's for the drop, but obviously after yesterday all that has changed.

Noticed Norwich and ourselves have 3 home games, out of the 5.

Draws against Everton and Villa with wins against Soton and Stoke will do me.

Wigan have 5 away from their 7 games with the Cup Final amongst it all (tough).

From that lot I can see the last day of the season looking like this

Wigan 5 more points from 6 games so 37 points

Villa 2 point from 5 games so 36 pts

    Stoke 2 points so 36pts

Newcastle 2 point so 38 points

Us 8 points so 41 pts and safe

Four teams with in two points of each other with two of them playing each other.

So a Wigan win and Villa are down

A Villa win and Stoke will need to get a draw at Southampton to stay up, do that and Wigan go down.

There is no combination of results on the last day, if my predictions are right, which would put Newcastle down.

So we finish as top dogs again and we can do the double over the Mags next year.

I did the predictor and had us on 38 points.

I predicted we'd lose the derby.

41 points we agree on pal.

It will be tight as a gnats chuff, but I think it's between Stoke & Wigan.

Stock are plummeting, Wigan have overloaded their fixture list with tough games to come.

the rest will be okay, including us.

Just did it myself mate and tried to be as realistic as possible, never looked at the table once while putting scores in and ended up having us in 13th on 42 points, 1 place above the horse bashers, QPR, |Reading, Wigan to go down.

If we get 41 points; finish above the barcodes (and yes, I don't mind them staying up at all) and to have taken 4 points of them including that humiliating rout on their home patch, after the shocking turn of events and season we've had, I'll be a proverbial pig in ****e.

Let's start with 3 points on Saturday though and another bogey team beaten.

Villa for me. Cheer the mags up, I suppose, but I'd prefer to wave bye-byes to Wigan or Stoke.
